Tony Blair declared today that radical Islam is the greatest threat to the world today, and of course, he is correct. There are few in the world who have a better understanding than the Quartet's Special Middle East Envoy. Certainly, Mideast leaders like Mubarak and King Abdullah, also understand it, since they will be the first to hang if Islamists prevail.

Notice the crowd seems about the same size, but if you consider that the treed area on the right in 1963 did not allow for a large gathering of a crowd, three is no question that the Beck rally was larger than the iconic 1963 March on Washington. The media portrays the 1963 rally has attracting around 250,000. Yet CBS can't bring themselves to confirm more that 84,000 for the Beck rally.

This weekend’s release of thousands of secret official files about coalition operations in Afghanistan paints a harrowing picture of the fog of war, most troubling of all of the accidental killings by British soldiers of hundreds of innocent civilians – revellers at wedding parties, kids in school buses, ordinary people going about their daily business who tragically found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time.
But for those coalition countries in Europe – Britain first among them – who are currently cheerleading the passage of the Goldstone Report on Gaza through the United Nations, this is more than an embarrassment. In the light of Goldstone, it represents an outright threat to the security of their soldiers on the ground as well as to their national interests in international tribunals.
At this point it seems that Goldstone represents a far larger problem for the UK than it does for Israel. Way to go old chaps. This is what happens when you let a pathetic group of Israel-haters run your Forign Office.

With refreshing honesty, United Arab Emirates Ambassador to the US, Yousef al-Otaiba publicly stated what most Arab states are thinking:
"I think it's a cost-benefit analysis... I think despite the large amount of trade we do with Iran, which is close to $12 billion … there will be consequences, there will be a backlash and there will be problems with people protesting and rioting and very unhappy that there is an outside force attacking a Muslim country; that is going to happen no matter what. If you are asking me, 'Am I willing to live with that versus living with a nuclear Iran?,' my answer is still the same: 'We cannot live with a nuclear Iran.' I am willing to absorb what takes place at the expense of the security of the U.A.E."
Of course, we can expect a lot of backtracking from the UAE and other Gulf countries. But the truth is the truth, and with the exception of the Obama Administration, everybody knows it, including Iran.
Obama's NASA Administrator says that "perhaps my foremost mission is to reach out to the Muslim world," and to make them "feel good about their historic contributions to science and engineering." Are you S#@%&*! me?

"Jordan" is a completely British-invented country that never existed in human history. Its territory represents over 76% of the original British mandate of Palestine, and the vast majority of its population is Palestinian Sunni Arab. To say that ‘Jordan is Palestine’ is a geographic, historic and demographic fact in terms of territory and population makeup. That a little King representing a minority sect (Hashemite) rules over that territory and calls it “Jordan”, is and has always been a farce, and anybody with a tiny knowledge of history knows it.
For all of those lefties that like to talk about "international law": Israel was created by a vote of the United Nations. 'Jordan' was simply invented by the British, no UN, no vote. It was simply a gift from the British to the Abdullah family for services rendered. Period, end of story.
As for the name "Palestine"; there never was a Palestinian state, EVER. Only a territory called 'Palestine' (as given to it by the Romans, and derived from the word Philistine as in the ancient Philistines of the Bible). And there NEVER was a "Palestinian people" until sometime in the 1950's when mostly Sunni Arabs living in and around the former British Mandate of Palestine began to refer to themselves as a distinct group which they named "Palestinians". Of course, people are free to call themselves what they wish. And they should also be free to set up their own country in 76% of the original Mandate of "Palestine", which is a place called 'Jordan'.
The "Palestinian" cause has always depended on the ignorance of Western useful idiots, fellow-travellers, and vile anti-Semites.

As if more smoking-gun video was needed: Sanctioned by the Turkish government, here we have the Turkish "peace activists" discussing their plans and motivating for the violence they ultimately initiated. Typical of Middle Eastern culture, first they organize for violence, then they work themselves up into a frenzy, then they commit the violence. Human nature being what it is, it was only a matter of time before jealousy, resentment and opportunism kicked in: Naturally, as with anything that Israel develops, discovers or achieves, lowly thieves in the neighborhood lay claim to it. In this case, Hezbollah and their puppet-State Lebanon, claim the gas as their own even though it is not in their territorial water and they had no idea the gas even existed a few months ago. As with the Palestinians in general, they did not invest in any effort to explore its potential, and will not invest a dime to develop it. They will simply make claims.

YouTube removed the flotilla satire video 'We Con The World' because of a silly "copyright infringement claim" by Warner/Chappell Music, Inc. Well over two million people watched the song before it was shut down today. CLEARLY, the video was satire and falls under the 'fair use' satire/parody distinction, but Warner were most certainly under political pressure to shut it down, and YouTube folded like a deck of cards. Here is the law.

The Israelis naively expected "peace activists" not organized gangs of violent thugs. They should have been far more aggressive from the outset. Israel's water problems will be coming to an end in the coming two years as the worlds largest water desalination plant is opened, with another even larger plant on the way. Within a few years, the vast majority of Israel's water will be produced by the new desalination plants, leaving depleted sources such as the Sea of Galilee to return to their natural state. The desalination plants will be powered by the large quantities of natural gas discovered off of Israel's shores. A remarkable turn of events.
UPDATE:
US to help finance the 'Iron Dome' anti-rocket system that is currently being deployed along its northern boarder and along the Gaza Strip in the South. Iron Dome has a 100% kill record in tests and is able to identify within seconds if an incoming rocket trajectory poses a threat to a population center or will fall in an open field. It then targets and destroys the rocket on a threatening trajectory. The goal is to completely neutralize the strategic threat of short and medium range rockets of the type deployed by Hezbollah and Hamas.

Chinese and Israeli workers complete a massive five mile tunnel cutting deep through Israel's Carmel Mountains underneath the city of Haifa, which will allow drivers (including large trucks) to bypass the entire city heading north or south in about six minutes. LA is highly dependent on Arizona for its electricity. The snot-nosed LA City Council voted for an economic boycott of Arizona, but the whoosies won't agree to have their lights shut off, and will continue to buy Arizona electricity. Hopefully, Arizona will shut LA's electricity off, or better yet, charge LA higher electrical rates to offset ANY economic damage caused by LA's declared "boycott".

Israel gained acceptance in the exclusive club of prosperous and developed economies after a 16-year effort to join the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). A country that, when founded, was a tiny and mostly agricultural economy, has grown into a global powerhouse of technology and innovation. Not a single Arab country has qualified for the OECD. Economist estimate that additional billions in investment dollars now will pour into Israel. That, along with the recent discovery of massive quantities of natural gas off of its shore, indicates that Israel is well on its way to becoming an economic powerhouse. Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that Israel's goal is to become one of the world’s 15 largest economies.
Ambassador Bolton warns that Obama is trying to disarm Israel. Especially with the Obama administration in power, Israel should be in the business of expanding every part of its nuclear arsenal, with every possible delivery system, from land sea and air. Hopefully it has suitcase nukes, nukes that can be delivered by cruise missiles from its Dolphin submarines as a second strike capability anywhere in the Muslim world, including Mecca, Medina, Tehran, and every other location. Let them know that no place is safe as long as they continue to threaten the existence of Israel. They will only be safe if they choose peace.

It is depressing, and let's face it, a bit scary that the US, which has refused to raise a finger against Iran's nuclear program or any other rogue action by any other US enemy has decided to go after Israel in this fashion. Anyone who paid the slightest attention to who Barack [short for Barakeh in Arabic] Obama is before he was elected knew full well that this man is an enemy of Israel. He was a member of an ardently anti-Semitic church for more than two decades. Obama is very concerned about the economic situation in... the Muslim world. So he has called a "Muslim entrepreneurship conference", because its such a pressing concern to Americans at this time.
Obama said that the meeting would "identify how we can deepen ties between business leaders, foundations and social entrepreneurs in the United States and Muslim communities around the world." Is there anyone out there who knows what a "social entrepreneur" is?
