Obama calls Muslim 'entrepreneurship summit'

Obama is very concerned about the economic situation in... the Muslim world. So he has called a "Muslim entrepreneurship conference", because its such a pressing concern to Americans at this time.

Obama said that the meeting would "identify how we can deepen ties between business leaders, foundations and social entrepreneurs in the United States and Muslim communities around the world." Is there anyone out there who knows what a "social entrepreneur" is?

Unlike say if it were an Israel entrepreneurship thing? Then I suspect you'd be all for it.

Isn't it weird how you only get annoyed when Obama does Muslim things? Why is that?

  2. That is true, and the reason is, that real Islam is generally incompatible with the values of Western Democracy, pluralism and freedom. It suppresses women and preaches hate towards non-believers. Islam itself means “submission”, and in its purest form, leads people to crash airplanes into buildings full of innocent people. This is not something the United States President should be “reaching out” to; it is something that he should be confronting.

As for Israel. It hardly needs an “entrepreneurial conference”. Israel’s GDP is larger than all of the surrounding Arab countries combined. It is the place where cell phones were invented, where the latest computer chips are designed and made. It has more companies listed on NASDAQ than any other country. It attracts more risk capital than all of Europe combined. It produces Nobel Prize winners in real fields like Chemistry and Economics. So please, don’t make me laugh.
