ISM volunteers are usually considered the absolute bottom of the barrel of naive Western youth. With child-like visions of revolutionary glory, they join hands with radical Islamists in their convoluted quest for Palestinian "freedom" from those "evil Zionist oppressors" in Israel where women are equals, gays are safe, and the rule of law and democracy are the norm. Can't have that. It would be a comedic scene from Saturday Night Live, if it were not so sad and pathetic. Of course, sometimes these poor lost souls find out the hard way who they are in bed with. Volunteers are often raped, sometimes kidnapped, and just the other day, one of their top volunteers was beheaded in the name of Allah. But don't expect any of that to influence the attitudes of the mental illness known as the ISM.   

Hillary Clinton: Jews Should Stop Having Sex, Palestine Should be Judenfrei

Just like the good old days:
In an interview today with the Obama administrations favorite television outlet Al-Jazeera, Mrs. Clinton announced that "We want to see a stop to [Jewish] settlement construction, additions, natural growth - any kind of [Jewish] settlement activity."

Of course, natural growth means children born and raised in these Jewish communities should not be allowed to build their own homes there as an adult. In short no natural growth. Don't have babies, don't have sex unless you are using planed-parenthood-approved precautions if you want your children to live in the same community as you. Clinton, adopting the Arab line lock stock and barrel is adamant that what she sees as Palestinian land should be 'Judenfrei' (Jew free), as opposed to Israel which is home to many Arab citizens. Israel is also home to millions of Jewish refugees and their decedents who fled from Arab countries. Countries that are now in fact, Judenfrei.

Of Course: Lebanon Claims Recently Discovered Israeli Natural Gas Reserve as Its Own

No sooner did Israel announced the discovery of a massive natural gas reserve off of its coast, Lebanon laid claim and issued threats to the American company behind the discovery:

Lebanon has a desire to draw the borders of its territorial waters vis-à-vis neighboring states, including Israel. The country is therefore expected to ask Noble Energy for confirmation that drilling does not reach Lebanese territory, and also to warn the company that as long as it works for "the Israeli enemy" and the issue is not resolved, it must avoid producing gas in order to preserve any quantity of natural gas that might be found to belong to Lebanon.

The idea is to manufacture a dispute and make political risk insurance for the Israeli-American producers so high that it will become economically un-viable for Israel to develop the field. The discovery is well within Israeli territorial waters, millions of dollars and hard work were invested over a period of years to make the discovery. As the achievement is announced, Arabs who have done nothing suddenly lay claim. Sounds like a metaphor for the entire Arab-Israeli dispute. Israel invests and builds, then Arabs come along and lay claim: "Hey, that belongs to me! My great great grandaddy knew about that gas and we were just about to develop it when the greedy Jews and imperialist Americans came along and stole it from us! My Great grandaddy fished these watter for thousands of years..."

It really is stunning to hear this publicly from an Arab leader. We all know that most Arab leaders want Israel to destroy Hamas, a radical Islamist organization which also threatens moderate Arab regimes. It is one thing to know it, and another thing to actually hear it directly from the mouth of the leader of the largest nation in the Arab world. I have to give Mubarak credit for saying what other Arab leaders are afraid to say publicly. Bottom line? So far Egypt is showing itself to be a responsible player in the region.

The IDF announced moments ago that large forces of Armored Corps, Engineering Corps and Infantry troops entered terror-infested Gaza for the purpose of destroying Hamas infrastructure and preventing rocket fire by taking control of launching pads in northern Gaza.

The IDF warned that terrorists using civilians as human shields would bear full responsibility for their fate.

Funeral or Target?

While some people call this a funeral, others call it a target and a missed opportunity. Undoubtedly, many of Hamas' most fanatical followers are in this procession. I mean who else would show up for the funeral for the head of Hamas' military wing Nizar Rayan? The beards usually indicate a devotion to more radical Islamic leanings. Notice how there are no women, just young men of fighting age. Had Israel evaporated this procession with a half ton precision guided bomb, which it easily could have done, would that be considered "targeting civilians?" I think not. The fact that Palestinians feel free to gather like this as Israeli civilians are instructed to avoid large gatherings, tells us that Hamas understands the limits of Israel's resolve. The loud pronouncements that this is "total war" are ridicules because if it was, this procession would have been evaporated... or never have taken place at all.

New Years Present

The religious leader and military commander of Hamas got his wish to become a martyr today courtesy of the Israeli Air Force. His four wives will miss him in hell. No word yet on his eligibility for 72 virgins.
