More Natural Gas Discovered off Israeli Coast

Boy, when it rains it pours! I have been following these developments because of the long-term strategic implications for the Middle East. Earlier, Israel discovered a very large reservoir of natural Gas off of its coast. Enough to supply much of its energy needs for at least 15 years. Well, today it was announced that even more gas was discovered a little farther to the south. Israel could become a net exporter of energy in the coming years with all that that implies. It's interesting how these energy finds have barley made it into the larger media but are headline news in smaller journals that follow Middle East politics and energy.

Israeli Suicide Drones, Long Range Killer Drones and Giant, Unmanned Bulldozers in Action

Drones are taking center stage in the ongoing clandestine war, between the real wars. Recently, convoys of weapons-smuggling trucks ("baby formula" in Arabic) in the Sudan were blown to smithereens by attacking aircraft with no fingerprints as to who was behind the operation. Some speculate that it was US aircraft flying out of Djibouti. The Sunday Times of London points to long-range Israeli killer drones who hover over targets and attack on remote command when the target suddenly presents itself. Clearly, this is where things are going technologically, both in the Afghan and Pakistan theater and in the Near East theater. An asset can hover in the sky for days until precise intelligence points to a target, even on the move. Death comes from the sky suddenly and without warning, leaving minimal fingerprints. What me? I have no idea what you're talking about. Huge, unmanned bulldozers remote controlled to clear obstacles like land mines and crush entire structures on top of terrorists taking cover in them. They fire at the gigantic steal machine baring down on them, to no avail. They fire anti-tank missiles into the cockpit and can't understand how it continues towards them until it's too late. Unbelievable stuff.

Israeli suicide drone:

Below are a few images of the Eitan, a long range Israeli drone with the wingspan of a Boeing 737, capable of maintaining flight for over 40 hours and carrying a 1,800 kg bomb payload. Equipped with every imaginable sensor.

George Soros: The Financial Crisis "is, in a way, the culminating point of my life’s work"

George Soros, the single largest contributor to the Democratic Party in the United States has made billions of dollars on this economic crisis. In this stunning article in the UK Daily Mail, he admits that the crisis "is, in a way, the culminating point of my life’s work." Wow! Maybe the Dems should consider taxing him at 90%? Don't count on it.

MP Daniel Hannan to Obama... No Wait, to Brown

He forget to take his hopey-changey pill that day:

Maxine Waters: It's the Jooooo's

According to Congresswoman Maxine Waters, It's a small group of greedy "Wall Street types", a "small group" of decision makers at Goldman Sachs who are pulling all the stings and conspiring to bringing down this economy. Of course there are many investment firms but Goldman Sachs was founded by... you guessed it, Joooos. Maxine Waters (D-CA) knows this but doesn't feel comfortable saying "Jews" so she says "a small group" of greedy you-know-who's over at Goldman Sachs who are scheming and conniving to keep us down. Timothy Geithner seems truly amazed at the blatant inference. This is a senior member of the Financial Services Committee of the United States Congress. Good lord!

Waters and others seem to be trying their darnedest to work folks up into a frenzy, looking for scapegoats in familiar places.

Obama Woking Hard to Destroy America

Doing his best to destroy America in the first 100 days of his presidency. Dems used to complain about Bush's deficit spending. As the OMB chart below clearly illustrates: Giving Obama the Presidency was like giving a teenager a credit card with no limit, a bottle of Whiskey and the keys to the family car:

Teleprompter USA

"Now whisper 'I love you' with quiet, reassuring strength, and pinch her bottom halfway between 'playful teasing' and 'urgent desire'... Leave it up to her how to take it. It's all in the nuance of letting people take it any of a dozen different ways."

Nut-Job Galloway Banned in Canada

British nut-job George Galloway has been banned from entering Canada because he is a security risk. Galloway is outraged and expresses concern for "free speech". Of course Canada does not recognize financing terrorism as a form of free speech and Galloway just can't understand why. Recently, Dutch MP Greet Wilders was banned from entering Britain for simply expressing his objections to radical Islam, Galloway had no problem with that.

Galloway: Hamas? Hezbollah? Jew killers? I love those guys!

Here is Galloway hugging the leader of the notorious terror organization Hamas:

Here is Galloway handing over bundles of cash to a senior Hamas leader. Not a lot of subtlety there. A direct violation of the laws of many civilized countries. It's called funding terrorists:

The Creepy Cult of Personality Continues

You cannot buy a magazine in America without Obama on the cover. It's literally worse than Russia in the old Soviet days. I'm embarrassed for the "press" who call this "Journalism". Good lord!
The other day I was at a Barns & Noble Bookstore. There was an entire section of "Obama Books". All that was missing were candles and prayer mats and the place would have been a shrine for worship. If it wasn't so disturbingly real it would be a comedy skit.

Israel's Next Prime Minister, Netanyahu, at Age 28

It was 1978, Netanyahu was going by the name "Ben Nitay". He was 28 years old and an "Economic Consultant". My guess is that he was working for Arnon Milchan or the Israeli consulate at the time, but I could be wrong. Good stuff:

Murdoc: The West Rises or Falls With Israel

Below is a statement from the Chairman of News Corporation, Mr. Rupert Murdoc:

IN THE WEST, we are used to thinking that Israel cannot survive without the help of Europe and the United States. Tonight I say to you: Maybe we should start wondering whether we in Europe and the United States can survive if we allow the terrorists to succeed in Israel.

In this new century, the "West" is no longer a matter of geography. The West is defined by societies committed to freedom and democracy. That at least is how the terrorists see it. And if we are serious about meeting this challenge, we would expand the only military alliance committed to the defense of the West to include those on the front lines of this war. That means bringing countries such as Israel into NATO.

My friends, I do not pretend to have all the answers... But I do know this: The free world makes a terrible mistake if we deceive ourselves into thinking this is not our fight.

In the end, the Israeli people are fighting the same enemy we are: cold-blooded killers who reject peace, who reject freedom and who rule by the suicide vest, the car bomb and the human shield.

Against such an enemy, I will not second-guess the decisions of a free Israel defending her citizens. And I would ask all those who support peace and freedom to do the same.

Victory in Iraq Achieved!

Thank you George Bush! There are simply no words to describe this great achievement. the sacrifice was worth it. Those who died did not die in vain. I can still hear Harry Reid and Barack Obama declaring defeat only a few years ago. They convinced dumb Americans that defeat was inevitable and the cause was worthless. They got elected that way. Check out this report from a media outlet that was biased against the effort in the old days but has since come around. Unbelievable:

AIG? Did You Know That Almost Two Thirds of Federal Employees Get Bonuses?

Our massive Federal Government employs well over a million and a half people, and usually about two thirds of them get bonuses every year even when the Federal Government screws up... like authorizing the AIG bonuses that they now oppose to begin with. Some bonuses were paid out to the leaders of quasi-government institutions like Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae that totaled in the tens of millions of dollars. Our President is expressing SHOCK at the AIG bonuses, but has no problem with far larger total amounts being paid out in bonuses to employees of the Federal government. And let us remember that the primary party responsible for this entire economic mess was not AIG but the Federal Government itself, who continues to pay out bonuses to their employees while complaining about others. Let us also not forget that both Chris Dodd and Barack Obama received lots of campaign cash from AIG, and they never complained about that.

UK: Hezbollah=Kosher, Greet Wilders=Not Kosher

NOT KOSHER:
It was only a few weeks ago that the UK refused entry to Dutch Parliament Member Greet Wilders. Apparently Wilders was just too "radical" for British authorities because he made a little film called Fitna which criticized radical Islam. Feel free to watch the film and judge for yourself: here.

KOSHER:
While fellow European Greet Wilders was refused entry into the UK, Britain has initiated a grovelling outreach campaign to the notorious, radical Islamic terrorist group Hezbollah, and has even granted senior Hezbollah spokesman Ibrahim Moussawi a visa to visit the UK today. Way to go UK! Has Brown completely lost his mind?

A Small Sign of Hope in the UK

FINALLY! For the first time, a video showing average UK citizens standing up to radical Muslims who came to disrupt a British Army parade. Maybe there is hope for Britain after all? We know its government cannot be counted on, but average UK citizens apparently can be counted to defend the country from those who would destroy it:

H/T: Jihad Watch

Bye, Bye Charles Freeman

He sits on the board of China's state owned off-shore drilling company, he chairs an institute funded by the Saudi royal family. He called the uprising in Tibet a "race riot" and complained that the Chinese failed to crack down on democracy dissidents quickly enough, referring the the Tienanmen Square massacre. He sees Israel and Jews as the source of all evil. This is the man that Obama nominated as US Chairman of the National Intelligence Council. Fortunately, Freeman withdrew his name moments ago. Good Lord! Anyway, count on Freeman and his buddies writing this all off as a "Jewish conspiracy".

Most Distastful Video of the Year

Israeli defense contractor Rafael created this video as part of their pitch to sell guided missiles to India's Ministry of Defense. Notice how the male representing Rafael is serenading the female representing India. Notice the tacky backdrop with missiles dispersed around the set. I really don't think it's possible to come up with a tackier presentation but if anyone finds one, please let me know.

Israel Defeats Sweden in the Davis Cup - Crazy Muslims go Wild

I used to be disturbed by these types of videos, but then I realized that the Europeans are such pussies when it come to Islam, that the entire issue has taken on funny "theater of the absurd" characteristics. Seriously, check out how the Euro-weenies deal with crazed radical Muslims (or rather don't deal with them) and see if you don't find yourself laughing at the absurdity of it all:

Hillary: A Palestinian State Is in "Israel's Best Interest"

I find it interesting when politicians tell Israel what is "in its best interest". Not only is it laughingly condescending, it also sounds like a threat. Kind of like Don Corleone expressing what he thinks is "in your best interest". How could someone like Hillary from Chicago have the slightest idea what is in Israel's best interest? If she happened to have been born in...say, Saudi Arabia, she would be wearing a burka and serving as Abdul's fifth wife right about now. That's how the Arabs see her whether she knows it our not. That's the reality of that neighborhood. Can she guarantee that this "Palestinian State" won't serve as a platform for launching rockets into Israel all day long? Israel has had a lot of experience over the years with politicians cleverly framing their arguments in terms of "concern" for Israel, or what they think is in its "best interest". Maybe she should just stick to what she thinks is in America's best interest? That too is questionable, but at least she knows something about America.
