I, and pretty much everyone knows that Garofalo is a buffoon. But it's always good to actually hear how they would structure society if they were given unlimited power to do so. Half the country would be in "reeducation" camps in the name of "tolerance" and all of their other holy ideas. Just more proof that those who tend to put themselves out there as crusaders for "tolerance" are some of the least tolerant people on the planet and should not be allowed anywhere near real power. .jpg)
I love this video on a number of levels; I was only eight, and 24years had passed since World War Two. The older people walking the streets of London and looking up at the rooftop had lived through the blitz. The music might as well have been coming from Mars, but they do show an appreciation. The younger folks had not experienced anything like the blitz. The beautiful women rushing to the scene in their mini-skirts help capture a time long past but still here. Their politics has long since passed into irrelevancy and even silliness in hindsight, but the music still moves me.
Yep. The day after 9/11, as part of its "get tough" makeover, the Obama campaign is mocking John McCain for not using a computer, without caring why he doesn't use a computer. From the AP story about the computer illiterate ad:
"Our economy wouldn't survive without the Internet, and cyber-security continues to represent one our most serious national security threats," [Obama spokesman Dan] Pfeiffer said. "It's extraordinary that someone who wants to be our president and our commander in chief doesn't know how to send an e-mail."
Well, I guess it depends on what you mean by "extraordinary." The reason he doesn't send email is that he can't use a keyboard because of the relentless beatings he received from the Viet Cong in service to our country. From the Boston Globe (March 4, 2000):
McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. The outrage comes from inside: McCain's severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes. Friends marvel at McCain's encyclopedic knowledge of sports. He's an avid fan - Ted Williams is his hero - but he can't raise his arm above his shoulder to throw a baseball.
In a similar vein I guess it's an outrage that the blind governor of New York David Paterson doesn't know how to drive a car. After all, transportation issues are pretty important. How dare he serve as governor while being ignorant of what it's like to navigate New York's highways.
With his Oh-so condescending, melodramatic soft voice. Yuk!
Charlie Gibson's Gaffe
Can anyone imagine what the media reaction would be if John McCain had a brother living in abject poverty with no assistance from his own brother who is a candidate for President of the United States, purporting to speak for the "little guy"? And when I say poverty, I don't mean American-type poverty, where poverty means an old refrigerator and a broken down car in a rundown neighborhood. I mean poverty of the sort you find in the worst of the third world where folks live on less than a dollar a day and live in filthy huts. The kind of poverty that I have seen firsthand during my many travels to many third world countries. 
That is in fact the situation with George Obama,the brother of Senator Barack Obama. In this photo, it looks like someone recently bought George a new set of clothes when compared to the photo's a few weeks ago. But he still lives in that shanty-town hut in abject poverty, while his brother prances around on a private jetliner talking about "helping" those in poverty. Apparently, Obama is unfamiliar with the concept of "charity begins at home." If this was the situation with John McCain, I assure you we would never hear the end about his heartlessness. Instead, all we hear is how Sarah Palin's family are imperfect. Wow!
FLASH: Sources close to sources who are connected to the cousin of the person sitting next to my booth at my favorite restaurant have heard that the Obama Campaign now realize that they made a terrible pick for VP. Even the VP pick himself admits it:
To sum it all up, the Obama campaign is now in serious discussions about dropping Joe Biden from the ticket and putting Hillary on the ticket instead.
In all seriousness, I think this roumor has more credibility than all of the Palin rumors combined.
Possibly the dumbest person in America, Woopi Goldberg, asks McCain if she needs to worry about becoming as slave again.
Of course, most far-lefties are so hysterical about Roe vs. Wade, they haven't a clue that should Roe-V-Wade be overturned, abortion would not be suddenly made illegal, but merely sent back to individual states to decide their own policy. So California can decide that it wants to keep killing baby's and calling it a "choice," while Indiana could decide to impose its own restrictions on the practice. McCain asserts, and I agree that there is simply nothing in the constitution that mandates a "constitutional right" to kill babies.
We should do a contest between McCain's use of the words "my friends" to Obama's use of the word "notion". That would be a tight race.
These "Poll" Headlines Should Read: Most Humans are Lacking In Basic Critical Thinking Skills:
Global Poll: Less then half the world believes Al Qaeda was behind 9/11. Astounding numbers believe in 9/11 conspiracies. The "Jews" or the "US Government" are "the worlds" favorite theories for 9/11. Wow!
Global Poll: "The World" wants Obama to win. That too should tell you something about "the World". In Russia for instance, polls show that their two favorite folks are Vladamir Putin... and Obama. in North Korea, undoubtedly, the same is true, only change Putin for Kim Jung Ill...and Obama. Wow.
Polling "the World", inevitably reflects the lowest/dumbest common denominator on on the planet.

You cannot make this stuff up!!! We know that the Democrats see Obama as a living God, but it never ceases to amaze when they actually come out and say it. But it gets much worse; they then compare Governor Palin to the Killer of Jesus Christ! Is it just me or are these people nuts!?
Remember that Palin is the only Governor in the race, there is no one else that Congressman Steve Cohen(D) could have been referring to. What a despicable creature. Of course, he used classic anti-Semitic-like language to smear Governor Sarah Palin. And this, coming from a fellow Jew who should know better, directed towards a believing Christian. These remarks need to be condemned by my fellow Jews in the strongest possible terms.

Former Democrat Senator from Alaska, Mike Gravel surprises Pacifica radio. Clearly the crazies at Pacifica assumed that Gravel would come out swinging against Palin and were shocked when he didn't come through.
Gee, I wonder who he was talking about. I guess Democrats can get away with this kind of ugly Misogyny. Imagine a Republican making this kind of remark. 
Dems sexiest theme of the day: LIPSTICK. Of course, Obama now denies that his remark had anything to do with Palin or her reference to the difference between a hockey mom and a Pit Bull being "lipstick." Stay classy Barack. Meanwhile, while Obama was busy calling Palin a pig, Palin was busy embracing a Down Syndrome child on the campaign trail:
Joe Biden thinks he's just like Obama and can make folks in wheelchairs walk:
Imagine Palin or McCain making such a gaff. Of course, it was an Innocent gaff and does not reflect badly on Biden, but no such slack would be given to a Republican.
