80 Year Old Man Marries 11 Year Old Girl in Saudi Arabia

From that bastion of right-wing hysteria, Al-Arabia, comes this report from Saudi Arabia. These reports are almost a daily occurrence in Saudi Arabia and much of the Arab world. Most of these types of marriages go un-noticed and happen every day.

    This is just sick, absolutely sick. Jesus said that by their fruits you shall know them. If the fruit of Islam is this kind of sickness (as well as other kinds of violence, mysogeny, and cruelty) them why would I want to convert to it? Anyone willing to marry a little girl has got to be one sick pervert. What is wrong with these cultures? Don't they have an internal barometer to tell them this stuff is wrong?

    Of course, in a rational world, libs and women's groups would be outraged. Instead, silence.
