The son of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi announced today that the release of the Lockerbie bomber was linked to trade deals between Libya and Britain: "In all commercial contracts, for oil and gas with Britain, (al Megrahi) was always on the negotiating table." After hugging the mass murderer, Libyan leader Momuar Gaddafi thanked his 'courageous friend' Gordon Brown. Jubilant crowds greeted the murderer waving Scottish flags.
Of course, Britain denied the deal, but in this case, the Libyan regime come across as far more credible. After all, it wasn't Libya that released the worst mass murderer in its history and felt the need to spin out of shame. That would be the UK. SHAME.

This guy has caused so many problems in the UK, they need to get rid of him. Maybe he and Obama can make it a joint decision and step down together.
ReplyDeleteThere is no way Brown didn't know about this deal, as devolution or not the Scottish executive would have asked London for advice. The worst part is that it took Brown 2 days to make any kind of statement about it in public. Two days! He makes bad decisions and then tries to hide from the flak. I would however like to reassure any Americans here that Brown has a snowballs chance in hell of surviving the next UK election, which will be within the next 7 months. Not long now....
