Hillary says the Bush administration never agreed to Israel expanding West Bank communities; insists there is no record of 'any informal or oral agreement' to that effect. The Israelis say the US position was laid out in a 2004 letter from Bush to then Israeli premier Ariel Sharon. Clinton rejected that claim, saying any such US stance was informal and "did not become part of the official position of the United States government." OK now we are back to Clinton word-parsing time.
Informal? Really? Usually "informal" agreements by the President of the United States are not put down in writing in a letter and sent to a foreign leader. Does it say "informal" on the letter?
I say that Israel should produce the letter, splash it all over the Internet, and let people make their own judgments about who is lying. For a person with the last name of 'Clinton', it may not be a good idea to be accusing others of lying.
So the US wants Israel to "abide by agreements" while Hillary is trying to parse her way out of a US agreement when it suits her ideologically.
Hmmmm

Now, now - let's not blame Hillary for anything other than over-loyalty to the Democrats - she is only Obama's mouthpiece (& darned clever it was for him to [pick her for this "whipping boy" post!).
