'US delivers advanced high- powered radar system to Israel'

The U.S. Army's European Command deployed an early-warning radar system in Israel last week along with a 120-member support team, the weekly Defense News reported.

The move marks the first permanent presence in Israel of American military personnel. The high-powered radar system is meant to augment Israel's defenses against Iranian ground-to-ground missiles.

  1. Unlike the Europeans, Isreal won't need to be bribed to accept American defensive capabilities.
For once the U.S.A. will not be forced to "negotiate" with an "ally" to place equipment and troops on their soil for their protecion.
Perhaps for the first time in my memory a foreign nation might actually say thank you America, we can but hope.
