Nazi-Like Law Enforcment "Truth Squads" for Obama

UPDATE: Missouri Governor Responds to Obama Nazi tactic:

JEFFERSON CITY - Gov. Matt Blunt today issued the following statement on news reports that have exposed plans by U.S. Senator Barack Obama to use Missouri law enforcement to threaten and intimidate his critics.

“St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of his Missouri campaign Senator Claire McCaskill have attached the stench of police state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign.

“What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.
Law enforcement officials have been asked by the Obama campaign to prosecute anyone "not telling the truth" about Obama. A group of Public Prosecutors and Sheriffs who support Obama have announced that they will "go after" anyone calming that Obama is not a Christian and wants to raise your taxes if you earn less than $250,000. Claiming a monopoly on "truth" they intend to use the full wait of officialdom to "go after" those who dispute their "truth". There are simply no words. These folks themselves should be prosecuted for voter intimidation and misuse of their official positions.

  1. One of the things that always made this country great is that you're free to criticize those in power.

Obama wants to change that, but only as it applies to him.

    He's setting himself up as a Messiah/King.

Is anybody besides the bloggers covering this outside Missouri?

  2. I find it hard to believe anyone could be prosecuted for those comments, perhaps background checks will show these people are using their right to the freedom of speech.
