Geert Wilders, Neocon Man Of the Week
Greet Wilders - Single handedly standing up against hate.
His movie could have been made by Al Qaeda... and that's the point. When Wilder puts a mirror up to Islamic extremism he is condemned by the very same Islamic extremists and their useful idiots in the West, who then threaten violence in response...proving Wilders' very point.
Those in the west who advocate tolerance of the intolerable, only serve to encourage the very violence that they supposedly abhor. THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE.
THE TRUTH??? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!

Google Videos now carries 'Fitna the Movie', After LiveLeak caves
Let's see how long Goggles backbone holds. YouTube now has it up as well.
Official LiveLeak Statement on The Removal of "Fitna"
Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature, and some ill informed reports from cerain corners of the British media that could directly affect the safety of some of our staff members. LiveLeak has been left with no choice but to remove Fitna from our servers.
This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the net but we have to place the safety and well being of our staff above all else. We would like the thank the thousands of people from all backgrounds and religions, who have us their support. They realised LiveLeak.com is a vehicle for many opinions and not just for the support of one.
Perhaps there is still hope that this situation may produce a discussion that could benefit and educate all of us and how we can accept one anothers culture. We stood for what we believe in, the ability to be heard, but in the end the price was too high.

This is a huge swipe at Barak Obama...with the first words:
"What must a President believe about us? About America? That she is worth protecting. That liberty is priceless. Our people honorable, our future prosperous, remarkable and free. And what must we believe about that President? What does he think? Where has he been? has he walked the walk?
The ad might as well have asked: "Has he been listening to hate-America diatribes for the past 20 years? Etc...

Fitna the Movie: Geert Wilders' film about the Quran... in its Entirety

LiveLeak took it down, but it's now available on Google videos. Lets see how long Google videos keep it up. In the meantime: watch it in full here:

This is the movie that is supposed to cause the entire Muslim world to explode in another world-wide cartoon riot. I saw the film. Watched it carefully...and I'm still wondering where the problem is. It is not narrated; virtually the entire film consists of direct quotes from the Quran and from the direct words of those purporting to speak in the name of Islam. Wilder himself does not say a word. Will someone please explain to me where the film is untruthful. I am truly open-minded on this.
When a vicious dictator wants a fifth column of Congressmen to run interference, he knows to call the Party of Defeat.
When a thug dictator needs a traitor to cover for him...who you gonna call?

Rasmussen Poll: McCain Trounces Both Obama and Hilliary
Usually at this stage of a Presidential election the Democrat will be leading in the polls, only to be passed in the closing weeks of the campaign by the Republican candidate. This year we already have a completely different dynamic. Seven months before the election and the Republican candidate has already opened a wide lead. Wasn't it just a few weeks ago when media conventional wisdom was that a Republican can't win this year?

Saddam's Intelligence Services Paid for Democrats to Visit Iraq
Well, well, well...No surprise here: It seems that Saddam's murderous intelligence agency paid for that notorious Democrat expedition to Iraq just prior to the Iraq war. David "Jihad" Bonior (D-MI) and "Baghdad" Jim McDermott (D-WA) licked the boots of the dictator in one of the most disgusting displays to appeasement in memory.
Of course it is only fitting and natural to learn that it was Saddam Hussein himself who paid for their visit.
Obama's "Exclusive Interview" with the Neocon
NE: Yo man, so what gives?
Obama: "No...seriously, I don't hate Jews; I don't believe that the US government invented the AIDS virus to infect minorities; I don't believe that 9/11 was an inside job or that the US government is pushing drugs on African Americans....That's just my closest friend and spiritual advisor over the past 20 years who believes that....not me"
NE: So what's with Grandma?
Obama: She's just your typical white person...a real racists...but I can't bring myself to disown her, because shes... you know...shes my grandma.
NE: Thanks Senator, I know your time is really short.
Obama: It's been a real pleasure, I hope that clarifies everything.
David Cook - Billie Jean - American Idol
I'm not usually one to discuss pop culture on this political site, but David Cook hit it out of the ballpark last night:
Probably the most interesting performance that I have seen on American Idol...ever. A pleasant surprise in this day and age of canned music....but also not without its controversy.
One more thing...the talent pool on American Idol this year (especially among the men) seems far superior to previous years. Just an observation.
Morris: Hillary's List of Lies:
Admitted Lies
• Chelsea was jogging around the Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. (She was in bed watching it on TV.)
• Hillary was named after Sir Edmund Hillary. (She admitted she was wrong. He climbed Mt. Everest five years after her birth.)
• She was under sniper fire in Bosnia. (A girl presented her with flowers at the foot of the ramp.)
• She learned in The Wall Street Journal how to make a killing in the futures market. (It didn't cover the market back then.)
Whoppers She Won't Confess To
• She didn't know about the FALN pardons.
• She didn't know that her brothers were being paid to get pardons that Clinton granted.
• Taking the White House gifts was a clerical error.
• She didn't know that her staff would fire the travel office staff after she told them to do so.
• She didn't know that the Peter Paul fundraiser in Hollywood in 2000 cost $700,000 more than she reported it had.
• She opposed NAFTA at the time.
• She was instrumental in the Irish peace process.
• She urged Bill to intervene in Rwanda.
• She played a role in the '90s economic recovery.
• The billing records showed up on their own.
• She thought Bill was innocent when the Monica scandal broke.
• She was always a Yankees fan.
• She had nothing to do with the New Square Hasidic pardons (after they voted for her 1,400-12 and she attended a meeting at the White House about the pardons).
• She negotiated for the release of refugees in Macedonia (who were released the day before she got there).
With a record like that, is it any wonder that we suspect her of being less than honest and straightforward?
Jean Ziegler to the UN Human Rights Council?
The sickness never ends. Leave it to the morally corrupt Swiss to nominate this man:
Obama's Key Advisors
MoveOn.org founder David Axelrod helped the state senator win his U.S. Senate seat in 2004 and currently serves as strategist and media adviser to Obama’s presidential campaign. He is in position to become Obama's Karl Rove.
Today, Axelrod runs AKP&D Message and Media, an 11-person firm based in Chicago that over the past six years has worked for candidates in 42 primary and general-election campaigns. They've won 33 of them, or nearly 80 percent.
On April 9th, 2007, the DrudgeReport releases a snapshot of Obama and a adviser David Axelrod having a meeting in the Senator’s Capitol Hill office. ROLL CALL reports that Congressional ethics rules forbid the use of federal office space for political and campaign activity.
Was it a recommendation of Zbigniew Brzezinski to bring Robert Malley, another anti-Israel foreign policy expert, onto Obama's foreign policy staff?
Malley's father, Simon Malley, was born to a Syrian family in Cairo and at an early age found his métier in political journalism. Simon wrote thousands of words in support of the struggle against Western nations. In Paris, he founded the journal Afrique Asie; he and his magazine became advocates for "liberation" struggles throughout the world, particularly for the Palestinians. Simon Malley loathed Israel and anti-Israel activism became a crusade for him -- as an internet search would easily show.
Now, his son, Robert, is following in his father's footsteps and he represents the next generation of anti-Israel activism, through his writings, that are akin to propaganda. He has written a range of pieces over the years that reveal an agenda at work that should give pause to those Obama supporters who truly care about peace in the Middle Peace and the fate of our ally Israel. He is best known for a controversial series of articles in 2001 blaming Israel and exonerating Arafat for the failure of the Clinton peace efforts.
Malley is the Director of the Middle East/North Africa Program at the International Crisis Group (ICG). The ICG is funded (in part) by anti-Israel billionaire activist George Soros through his Open Society Institute. Soros serves on its Board and on its Executive Committee. Other members of the Board include Zbigniew Brzezinski (whose anti-Israel credentials are impeccable) and Wesley Clark (who called US support for Israel during the Hezbollah War a "serious mistake").
Why would Obama have on his foreign policy staff a man with a record of writing that reveals a willingness to twist facts to serve a political agenda and who has been widely criticized for a revisionist history of the Middle East peace process.
Why would Obama give credibility to a man who seems to have an agenda that includes empowering our enemies and weakening our friends and allies?
According to retired Gen. Merrill "the Jews made us do it" McPeak, Obama's most senior military adviser, Iran's behavior is a reaction to Bush's tough talk.
"Iran is a big enemy of al Qaeda," and "They were a big enemy of the Taliban," said the retired four-star general. "They cooperated with us quite completely in the initial phases of our Afghanistan operation. And it was us that insulted them by including them in the 'axis of evil' and making sure they understood we didn't like them very much."
That drove us apart," said McPeak. "Obama's idea is, why not talk to them. Why not see if there isn't some common ground. Certainly, the fight against al Qaeda would be one of them."
"With all due respect to Gen. McPeak, what drives the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran apart -- and has since 1979 -- is the unwavering antipathy of the regime in Tehran towards the United States, its ally Israel and freedom-loving, non-Islamist nations more generally," said Frank Gaffney, a Pentagon policymaker in the Ronald Reagan administration who heads the Center for Security Policy.
Added Gaffney: "It is not simply naïve, it is reckless to ignore: serial statements by the mullahs and their front man, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, about a world without America; their goons parading in Iranian cities shouting "Death to America"; their active efforts to kill and maim Americans and Iraqis in the hope of defeating the United States in Iraq and rendering the latter an oil-rich satellite and new safe-haven for Iranian-backed terror; and accumulating evidence that Iran’s Hezbollah proxies, and their intelligence agents are developing cells capable of unleashing deadly violence here as well as elsewhere. Even an individual without appreciable expertise in such matters like Sen. Obama should be able to discern these realities. It is inexplicable how a professional military officer like Gen. McPeak could fail to do so."
First of all, he must have convenient amnesia when it comes to the takeover of the US embassy in Iran back in 1979, Iranian-backed Hezbollah's attack in Beirut, Lebanon, which killed 241 Marines, sailors and soldiers -- all American. He must have also slept through Hezbollah's kidnapping of UN Observer US Marine Colonel William Higgins and the CIA station chief in Beirut, Bill Buckley.
The 9-11 Commission uncovered clear evidence of great cooperation between Iran and Al Qaeda over a period of years, long before the September 11 attacks, and if you Google "iran al qaeda," you can see all sorts of connections discovered between the two.
McPeak described US foreign policy as dictated by "pro-Israel" jewish voters in New York and Miami. "Let's say that one of your abiding concerns is the security of Israel as opposed to a purely American self-interest, then it would make sense to build a dozen or so bases in Iraq," he continued. Normally, scapegoating Jews we be grounds for resignation...not in the Obama campaign.
Obama has less than 10 flag rank officers supporting him.
Samantha "Sam" Power is the author of a Pulitzer Prize-winning book on genocide, and she has a professorship at Harvard. She is also a senior foreign policy adviser to Barack Obama. The Washington Post has identified her as "closest to Obama, part of a group-within-the-group that he regularly turns to for advice." She "retain(s) unlimited access to Obama." The New York Times said that Power has an "irresistable profile" and "she could very well end up in [Obama's] cabinet."
She also has a problem: a corpus of critical statements about Israel. These have been parsed by Noah Pollak at Commentary's blog Contentions, by Ed Lasky and Richard Baehr at American Thinker, and by Paul Mirengoff at Power Line.
Power made her most problematic statement in 2002, in an interview she gave at Berkeley. The interviewer asked her this question:
Let me give you a thought experiment here, and it is the following: without addressing the Palestine-Israel problem, let’s say you were an advisor to the President of the United States, how would you respond to current events there? Would you advise him to put a structure in place to monitor that situation, at least if one party or another [starts] looking like they might be moving toward genocide?
Power gave an astonishing answer:
What we don’t need is some kind of early warning mechanism there, what we need is a willingness to put something on the line in helping the situation. Putting something on the line might mean alienating a domestic constituency of tremendous political and financial import; it may more crucially mean sacrificing -- or investing, I think, more than sacrificing -- billions of dollars, not in servicing Israel’s military, but actually investing in the new state of Palestine, in investing the billions of dollars it would probably take, also, to support what will have to be a mammoth protection force, not of the old Rwanda kind, but a meaningful military presence. Because it seems to me at this stage (and this is true of actual genocides as well, and not just major human rights abuses, which were seen there), you have to go in as if you’re serious, you have to put something on the line.
Unfortunately, imposition of a solution on unwilling parties is dreadful. It’s a terrible thing to do, it’s fundamentally undemocratic. But, sadly, we don’t just have a democracy here either, we have a liberal democracy. There are certain sets of principles that guide our policy, or that are meant to, anyway. It’s essential that some set of principles becomes the benchmark, rather than a deference to [leaders] who are fundamentally politically destined to destroy the lives of their own people. And by that I mean what Tom Friedman has called "Sharafat" [Sharon-Arafat]. I do think in that sense, both political leaders have been dreadfully irresponsible. And, unfortunately, it does require external intervention.... Any intervention is going to come under fierce criticism. But we have to think about lesser evils, especially when the human stakes are becoming ever more pronounced.
It isn't too difficult to see all the red flags in this answer. Having placed Israel's leader on par with Yasser Arafat, she called for massive military intervention on behalf of the Palestinians, to impose a solution in defiance of Israel and its American supporters. Billions of dollars would be shifted from Israel's security to the upkeep of a "mammoth protection force" and a Palestinian state -- all in the name of our "principles."
Update: Samamtha Power has "resigned" from the campaign after calling Hillary "a monster."
As a senior foreign policy adviser to Mr. Obama, Susan Rice, 43, has taken a leading role in helping to shape the freshman Illinois senator's vision for the world, building on a bond forged in part by their shared -- and outspoken -- opposition to the war in Iraq.
An assistant secretary of state under President Clinton, Ms. Rice also served as a senior adviser on the Kerry-Edwards campaign in 2004.
"Supporting Senator Obama was a clear choice for me," she said.
According to multiple sources, including former Clinton official Mansoor Ijaz and Richard Miniter, author of the bestseller Losing Bin Laden, it was she who was a major opponent of accepting Sudan’s offer to turn over the world’s most wanted mass murderer. At the time, Rice was the Clinton Administration’s Secretary of State for African Affairs and a former assistant National Security Advisor under Sandy Berger.
According the both Ijaz and Miniter, Rice’s personal beliefs on the Sudan’s credibility led to her convincing Berger to reject their offer to turn over Bin Laden, overruling the advice of Tim Carney, then ambassador to Sudan. Her partner in this colossal error in judgment? Bush hater Richard Clarke. Sadly, a little more than a year later, Bin Laden’s murderers blew up the African embassies, killing U. S. soldiers and citizens.
She is one of the few people still vouching for Joe Wilson’s credibility long after everyone else realized that not even vultures could find any shred of credibility on the Wilson carcass.
One absolutely shudders at the thought of this woman being in charge of our national security. She has been behind the curve and wrong on just about every issue on which she’s gone on record. The fact that she has the Osama cloud hanging over her head, and her shilling for Howard Dean should automatically disqualify her from being anywhere near a position of influence in national security affairs.
Rev. Jeremiah A Wright, pastor of the UCC Trinity Church, is Obama's personal and spiritual adviser. Wright preaches African-American unity through antipathy toward whites. He is militantly Afrocentric. His church's website proudly claims, "We are an African people, and remain 'true to our native land,' the mother continent, the cradle of civilization."
Wright, who married the Obama's, remains a major influence on the presidential candidate. The title of Obama’s second book, The "Audacity of Hope," is borrowed from one of Wright’s sermons.
When he took over Trinity United Church of Christ in 1972, Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. was a maverick pastor with a wardrobe of dashikis and a militant message.
He graduated from Howard University and earned bachelor's and master's degrees in English with a focus on African spirituals. At the University of Chicago Divinity School, he earned another masters degree in the history of religions with a focus on Islam.
This video presents an example of the Rev. Wright's beliefs -- it is truly disturbing.
Wright sought to build his church on the black theology of liberation, the Marxist ideology introduced in 1968 by Rev. James Cone of New York. It emphasizes Africa's contribution to Christianity rather than that of mainstream white theologians.
Wright told The New York Times in an interview, published March 6th: "When his (Obama's) enemies find out that in 1984 I went to Tripoli," with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan to visit Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, "a lot of his Jewish support will dry up quicker than a snowball in hell."
Update: Wright has "resigned" from the campaign following the release of video tapes exposing extreem hate and strange conspiracy theories.
On February 1st, 2008, Obama, shows his international naiveté by naming, Zbigniew Brzezinski, the architect of the current situation in the middle east, as his Chief Foreign Policy Advisor.
Two weeks after Obama names Zbigniew Brzezinski as his Chief Foreign Policy Advisor, Brzezinski arrives in Damascus, Syria, to begin talks with the terrorists and political assassins of the Assad regime.
The visit is not coordinated with America's embassy and will not be covered by the press, although Syrian press accounts said the delegation would visit Syria's president, Bashar al-Assad; vice president, Farouq al-Sharaa, and foreign minister, Walid Mouallem.
Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY) commented, "I remember thinking, 'Why are we listening to him?' (Brzezinski) He was the national security adviser for Jimmy Carter 30 years ago. He proceeded to talk to us about Iran, and I said, 'Let me see, didn't the ayatollahs come to power, didn't we have this problem when you were in the White House?'"
Brzezinski was also the great promoter of Islamic fundamentalism, which he celebrated as the greatest bulwark against Soviet Russian communism. Using the Islamic fundamentalists, Brzezinski hoped to make the entire region between the southern border of the USSR and the Indian Ocean into an "arc of crisis," from which fundamentalist subversion would radiate into Soviet territory, first and foremost into the five Soviet republics of central Asia, Azerbaijan, etc. It was in the service of this Islamic fundamentalist card that Brzezinski first helped overthrow the Shah of Iran, and then insisted that the replacement could be no one else than Ayatollah Khomeini.

That Tiny Country:
Surrounded and outnumbered a thousand to one by dictatorships and religious fundamentalists from the 12th century. This tiny, modern democracy has developed a GDP larger than all of its neighbors combined:
While its neighbors export terrorism, hatred and...oil. This tiny country with no natural resources exports medicine, cutting edge computer and communications technologies, and agricultural methods to feed the world... as testified by Bill Gates of Microsoft, Warren Buffet, HP, Intel, Applied Material...etc...
Hillary Jumps in: Wright 'would not have been my pastor'
In a sharp jab representing her first real remarks on the matter, Clinton said that she would have left her church if her pastor made inflammatory remarks akin to those uttered by Sen. Barack Obama's former pastor. "He would not have been my pastor," Clinton said. "You don't choose your family, but you choose what church you want to attend."
Hillary's claim that she braved snipers in Bosnia has been exposed as fraudulent, and the media backlash has begun
Senior Democratic Party Official: She will have to "break his back, She will have to destroy Obama, make Obama completely unacceptable." It's the only way she can win.

Obama's Church: Israel Planned Ethnic Bomb To Kill Blacks & Arabs

Open Letter to Oprah
Published June 10th 2007
in the Trinity United Church of Christ Bulletin:
Dear Oprah,
I am so glad that you will be visiting my country, Palestine. I wish if I could be there to greet you. Certainly, despite the genocide and ethnic cleansing they face every hour of the day, my people will be there. They will be happy to see you and will receive you with open arms.
Unfortunately, I cannot be there! My family tree and my roots in Palestine go back to time immemorial, long before Islam, Christianity and Judaism came into being. Last July, I was given entry to my homeland only as a tourist, with an American passport and a Japanese camera. Though I am 70 years old, I had to stand at the Israeli immigration window at Sheikh Hussein entry point on the Jordan River for over seven hours before I was allowed in to visit my home and family. Months earlier, Canadian Jews were processed and given Israeli citizenship to my land while they were 35,000 feet high over the Atlantic.
Arabs, throughout history, are known to be hospitable to their guests. You will be no exception. For many centuries, Jews escaped the discrimination and death they were subjected to in Europe, and found safety and refuge among us. Muslims believe in Christianity and Judaism. The Quran states there is no distinction between Muhammad, Jesus and Moses. Therefore, according to our Islamic teachings, all are prophets of God and all must be honored and respected.
You must know that Zionist Jews from all over the world, particularly Europe, came to my Palestine, not as guests, but as settlers and occupiers in the early part of the 20th century. The natives were referred to as “snakes” from which the land must be cleansed. In 1948 they occupied 72% of my land and emptied out over 500 Arab (Christian and Muslim) towns and villages. In 1967 they occupied the remaining 28%. Six million of us have been living in refugee camps in Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon for the last fifty nine years, even though the United Nations ordered the Israeli government to allow us to return (1948 UN resolution 194).
Our Palestine is so beautiful. You will enjoy it. It is a museum. So many civilizations have mixed and melted there. Throughout history, invaders came and finally left. We remained. We survived. As we offered the Crusaders who occupied our holy lands for two hundred years, Jews can stay and share our land, if they wish to live in a free and democratic Palestine that respects the rights of all, regardless of their religion, race, or ethnicity. Those who refuse and insist to live in an apartheid state will inevitably pack up and return to their native lands.
Please, visit Jaffa, Haifa, Acre, and Nazareth within the so-called Green Line. Take pleasure in the aroma of our orange orchards on the Mediterranean coast. Drive to the top of the Mount of al-Carmel and enjoy its beauty and the splendid view.
Elie Wiesel, your host, will take you to the Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem to show you the crimes committed by the Germans against the Jews. Undoubtedly, when the visit is completed, he will attempt to usher you away; but if you look down across the valley you can see the site of the massacre of the village of Deir Yassin. Hundreds of armless and helpless Arab men, women, and children were shot to death, by the Irgun, Wiesel’s associates and friends, in April 1948. The remaining women survivals were paraded in trucks through the streets of Jerusalem. I can never forget this scene, just can’t. My family, among the thousands of Palestinians, had to flee. “NEVER AGAIN” are two hollow words. They don’t apply to non-Jews.
Oprah, I beg you not to forget visiting Gaza and the West Bank where over three million of us still live. All attempts made to force them leave and run for their lives have failed. Take pictures of the 700 kilometer apartheid wall and reflect on the political messages of the graffiti it displays. I was struck by one of these messages at the entry to Bethlehem. “Thou not steal.” Confiscation of our lands, however, continues until this day.
Experience some of the military check points where our people have to stand in line for hours before they are allowed to cross. Witness the harassment and degradation my people are subjected to. A 20 minute journey from a village to another takes 7 hours. Many pregnant Arab women have lost their babies while waiting for clearance on their way to hospitals. There are over 550 of these checkpoints that divide our land into ghettos in the West Bank alone. Though the water we get does not meet our basic needs, notice the swimming pools Israelis enjoy in settlements built on our stolen lands.
Of course, the highlight of your trip will be the performance of pilgrimage in Jerusalem, the city of Jesus. It is also the city of my birth. The school I attended is the site of the palace where he received his death sentence. My home is only a couple of blocks away from the Via Dolorosa, the path he took to his crucifixion. Walk through the narrow and curved alleys where he walked. I did that without interruption for 23 years. Those days are gone.
Oprah, stand on top of the Mount of Olives, as I often did, and experience the glory and majesty of Jerusalem, its al-Aqsa Mosque, the Dome of the Rock, the Holy Sepulcher, and other houses of worship. Observe the magnificence of the ancient wall built by Muslims to defend and protect these priceless treasures. Hear al-azan, the Muslim call for prayer, as it joins in unison with bells coming from Christian churches. What an eternal symphony!
Please proceed to the village of Bethany, three miles to the east. Go down the steps of the cave that leads to the tomb of Lazarus, whom Jesus raised from the dead. The small dark room on top of the cave was the shelter my mother, my three younger sisters, and I took after we escaped the carpet bombing of the old city of Jerusalem in 1948. My Muslim cousin is the custodian of the holy cave, a great honor that his family inherited from a generation to a generation. His father, an illiterate, was able to recite to Christian worshipers the story of Lazarus, in English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Greek, and other foreign languages.
Don’t miss the opportunity to drive five miles south to Bethlehem. Feel the ecstasy of entering the most dramatic cave in which the Virgin Mary delivered her beautiful Palestinian baby. During the Second Intifadah, the uprising against Israeli occupation, Muslim and Christian activists, chased by the Israeli death squads, were given refuge in the church.
You may go and see the Jordan River where Jesus was baptized, only a thirty minute drive. Beware; don’t plunge into the dirty and polluted waters. The river is almost dry. Its waters were diverted by the Israelis. Five miles west, near Jericho, you will pass by the Mount of Temptation where Jesus fasted for forty days. I can no longer walk up the steep mountain and pay respect to the Greek monks who chose to dedicate their lives to their Lord at their ancient and lonely monastery at the summit.
I do know that Mr. Mandela, who is probably the most respected man on Earth today, is your friend and hero. He is also mine. I met him in Chicago; and I had the honor of visiting him at his home in South Africa, years back. You are also a friend and a great admirer of Cape Town Archbishop Tutu, a Nobel Peace Prize dignitary, a man who has stood against injustice and racism almost his entire life. Both men describe Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians, the natives of the land, as worse than apartheid. Recently, Israel prevented Bishop Tutu from coming to Gaza to investigate and report Israel’s war crimes to the United Nations.
I must tell you that Israel was the closest ally to the White Supremacists of South Africa. In fact, South Africa allowed Israel to test its nuclear weapons in the ocean off South Africa. The Israelis were given a blank check: they could test whenever they desired and did not even have to ask permission. Both worked on an ethnic bomb that kills Blacks and Arabs.
Arabs have always supported the dismantling of this racist government. In 1962, African-Arab Sudan granted Mandela a passport to travel with to gain international support in his struggle to free his people. Libya, among other Arab states, provided Mandela and other African liberation movements, political as well as material support. As a result, Libya was designated by the White House as a terrorist rogue state. What a great honor!
A few days ago, Amnesty International’s annual report was released. The report slams Israel’s conduct in the occupied territories. It documents some of the “serious human rights abuses” Israel commits daily. It also spoke of the “war crimes” that Israel had committed in Lebanon.
Arnold Toynbee, the world renowned historian, stated that what the Zionist Jews did to the Palestinians is worse than what the Nazis did to the Jews, because, as he stated, Jews should have learned from their tragic experience.
Dear Oprah, I do understand the enormous pressure you are subjected to. But I am encouraged by your speech to Howard University graduates. “My integrity is not for sale.… Do not be a slave to any form of selling out”, you remarked.
When you return, may God of the Universe grant you the courage to tell the world of what you actually witnessed. Judging from the terrible attacks and insults former President Jimmy Carter has recently experienced for his book, Palestine Peace Not Apartheid, I do not claim that the task is easy. However, it would be an unforgivable crime for those who have suffered from slavery and are still suffering from discrimination, to ignore the suffering of others.
With Peace and Love,
Ali Baghdadi
This is the kind of stuff that Obama's Church felt comfortable disseminating in their church publication. Maybe it's just me.
More Obama-Wright...from now until November:
Reverend Wright's message resonates with many Democrats:

Hero Hillary: "I dodged Snipers!"
Talk about over-playing your experience! The woman looks into the camera and flat-out lies. This is just amazing stuff. Any normal person caught lying like that would by shamed back into obscurity...but not politicians it seems. Still, not as bad as a 20 year close association with a raving racists Reverend, but this is pretty telling stuff none-the-less:

With Obama, We Must Parse Every Word
My initial reaction to Obama’s ‘Race Speech’ was positive, and it really took the edge off of my disgust after hearing the words of his close friend and Pastor for 20 years, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. The soothing tone and inflections of his voice exuded a sincerity that was hard not to believe… or at least I wanted to believe.
But now that I have had a little time to reflect carefully on Obama’s speech, I have gradually reverted to being even more disgusted and angry than before his speech. I feel like I now need to take a shower to cleanse myself from the cloud of intellectual dishonesty, shameless verbal manipulation and emotionalism that politician Obama engaged in to wiggle his way out of this….clearly targeting those with a serious deficiency in critical-thinking skills….
The elements of his speech that particularly have come back to bother me have mostly to do with the repeated moral-equivalencies that he engaged in: Comparing Geraldine Ferraro’s stupid statements to the over-the-top outrageous racism and hatred of America, verbalized by Pastor Wright: Dragging his own grandmother into it all, essentially calling her a racist that made him “cringe”.
The man could not bring himself to disassociate from a real hate merchant … “no more than I can disassociate myself from the Black community”. Implication? Reverend Wright’s racism and hate is somehow an understandable and legitimate, widespread opinion in Black America. When asked later to explain the comments about his Grandmother, Obama described her as your “typical white person.” Imagine any candidate describing any African American as “your typical black person.”
And then there are the lies: “I have never heard any such statements personally”; only to later admit that he has heard “controversial statements” without specifying what they were. That is the Obama “I smoked but didn’t inhale moment.” Only this is a much more serious matter than whether he smoked a few joints in college.
This is how he described his “God Damn America” Church: “Actually, I don’t think that my Church is particularly controversial”, shortly before the sermons of the Reverend Wright became public.
Certainly, Obama is a smooth talking slickster that in many ways puts the king of all slicksters, Bill Clinton, to shame. He knows that most of the Press and most Americans will not delve deeply into the limitless hypocrisy and relativism that came out of his mouth during that speech, however eloquently delivered. He is betting on America’s legendary short attention span and impatience for nagging detail. He may be betting correctly.

Obama-Edward Said: Quick Question
This photo from 1998 has been circulating on the Internet for a while now, but nobody seems to ask a very basic question: Why was a relatively obscure State Senator seated next to the high and mightily Keynote speaker, Edward Said, at this May 1998 Arab community dinner in Chicago? These types of events ordinarily do not have random seating. Someone obviously thought it important to seat Obama next to the Palestinian radical and guest of honor. Why?

Carville: 'Richardson is Judas'
“Mr. Richardson’s endorsement came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic,” Mr. Carville said, referring to Holy Week and the timing of Richardson's endorsement of Obama.
So in Carville's world Richardson is Judas; by definition, that must mean that... Hillary is Christ.... Indeed, that would be consistent with the religious fervor in which Hillary (and Obama) supporters view their respective candidates. Good lord!

Passport Files?
I'm not approving of any one snooping around anyones files...but unless I'm missing something, what exactly is the oh-so sensitive information that could be found in Passport files? What countries they've visited and when they visited them? Wow! The world is coming to an end. I would think that Tax Returns contain far more revealing information, and that information is routinely released by all candidates for President....unless your Hillary Clinton.

Cross Examining Hillary and Monica's "Schedules"
The most highly "experienced", super-qualified, smartest woman in the world was only a few rooms over in the White House on a half dozen days when her husband had sexual encounters with Monica Lewinsky, according to the first lady's calendars released today for the first time. The Associated Press (apparently with nothing better to do) cross examined Mrs. Clinton's schedule on days when Lewinsky said she had sexual encounters with Bill Clinton. It's a dirty low-down job, but somebody had to do it:
Nov. 15, 1995: The first lady was in a mid-afternoon "meet & greet" photo opportunity at the White House with various Nobel Laureates and their families. That night, Lewinsky had what she later said was her first sexual encounter with the president in the private study off the Oval office.
Nov. 17, 1995: Mrs. Clinton had no public schedule and was at the White House. That night, Lewinsky said she had a sexual encounter with the president while he was on the phone in the White House with a member of Congress.
Dec. 31, 1995: Mrs. Clinton had no public schedule and her calendar does not show her location. That afternoon, Lewinsky said she and the president had a sexual encounter in a study in the White House.
Jan. 7, 1996: On a Sunday afternoon, Lewinsky and the president spent most of the afternoon in the Oval Office. The first lady and the president had a small dinner with 20 people at "the Old Family Dining Room" at the White House.
Jan. 21, 1996: The first lady had no public schedule, but she and the president privately toured an exhibit at the National Gallery of Art. Lewinsky and the president had an afternoon sexual encounter in the hallway by the private study next to the Oval Office, Lewinsky said later.
Feb. 4, 1996: Mrs. Clinton and the president attended the National Governor's Association annual dinner. Lewinsky said she and the president that day had a sexual encounter and their first lengthy and personal conversation.
March 31, 1996: Mrs. Clinton toured an archaeological site and museum in Delphi, Greece, and watched a folk dance performance. That day, Lewinsky said she and the president resumed their sexual contact.
Feb. 28, 1997: The schedule shows Mrs. Clinton was in the White House at least part of the day, when President Clinton and Lewinsky had oral sex near the Oval Office, leaving stains on her dress. There were no public events, but the schedule shows Mrs. Clinton had "drop by" events or meetings in the Map Room and Diplomatic Reception Room between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The schedule also lists plays and a concert that night, but it is not clear whether Mrs. Clinton attended.
March 29, 1997: On the day when Lewinsky told independent counsel Kenneth Starr that she had her final sexual encounter with the president, Mrs. Clinton was thousands of miles away in Eritrea. In his grand jury testimony, the president denied this encounter. The first lady that day toured the Martyrs' Cemetery in Eritrea, where she participated in a wreath-laying ceremony and a tree planting. She also visited a health care clinic, spoke to villagers, and toured a polio vaccination room. She visited a woodworking center, held a round-table discussion with the National Union of Eritrean Women and met the country's president.
Switzerland's Dirty Little Deal with the Devil
Leave it to Switzerland, the country that would remain "neutral" in a battle between the arsonist and the fire brigade, to sign a multi-billion dollar gas deal with the devil [Iran] as they seek nuclear weapons. I'm not sure who I hold in lower regard; the Islamic radical regime or the disgusting, creepy little Swiss.

John McCain Recieves Hero's Welcome In Israel
Senator McCain recieves a rockstars reception in Israel as he clarified his Middle East policies: "If Hamas/Hizbullah succeeds here, they are going to succeed everywhere, not only in the Middle East, but everywhere. Israel isn't the only enemy...They are dedicated to the extinction of everything that the US, Israel and the West believe and stand for. So America does have an interest in what happens here, far above and beyond our alliance with the State of Israel."
"Someone is going to have to answer me the question of how you are going to negotiate with an organization that is dedicated to your extinction,"
McCain began his two-day Israel visit with a trip to the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial and museum in Jerusalem. As his motorcade pulled up, a crowd of tourists greeted him chanting "Mac is back, Mac is back."
"I can't give you a good answer as to how you respond to these rocket attacks.... I can tell you that I believe that if rocket attacks came across the border of the United States of America, that the American people would probably demand pretty vigorous actions in response. I think I know my constituency in the state of Arizona, and they would be pretty exercised if rockets came across our southern border."

Obama's Full Race Speech
In the spirit of fairness; below is Obama's full speech on race, in response to the Wright issue:
A remarkable speech...a beautiful speech of the kind that only Obama seems capable of delivering. I disagree with his liberal solutions and this does not do away with my contempt for the words of his Pastor or my suspicions that Obama's real values are more in line with his Pastor's than otherwise. But for me, this speech does soften a bit my hardened attitude that I had developed toward him following the release of the videos of his Pastor of the past 20 years. So to that extent, I believe the speech achieved much of its objective.

Obama expresses his deep love for the Reverend Jeremiah Wright
Of course, Obama had "no idea" that Wright is a raving racists and anti-Semite who made trips to Libya to visit colonel Kadaffi in his spare time
The Reverend Jeremiah Wright on Israel
Of course, Obama is shocked, SHOCKED! That his good friend and spiritual mentor of 20 years ever said anything of the sort. He had no idea...it was all out of context... he was no where around... SHOCKED I tell you.

JPMorgan Chase to Purchase Bear Stearns for $2 a Share
This is just mind boggling, really. A flagship investment bank on Wall Street since the 1920's, who's stock was worth $30 only a few days ago. Sold for $2 a share! An unprecedented collapse. For the first time I am having a sense of real fear about this economy...not just concern, but fear. Hopefully I am off base.

Saterday Night
Rockstar: This song is a great social commentary on America. Foreigners might not get it... so let me explain: It's meant to be a nasty little observation of some of our less attractive qualities...decadence, self-absorption...the Eliot Spitzer lifestyle...; colorful and entertaining non-the-less. Maybe this is what David Bowie meant in his song 'I'm affraid of Americans' Enjoy:
The Parody is hilarious:
Germany: 'A Threat To Israel is the Same as a Threat to Germany'
Only a person who understands history will appreciate these words coming from the mouth of a German Chancellor. Really, I'm still trying to absorb this. Even though they are still, just words, it is non-the-less a remarkable and moving gesture 63 years after the Holocaust.
Of course, Germany is the largest trading partner with Iran. Merkel would be in a position to illustrate the sincerity of her words by imposing German trade sanctions on Iran until they halt their nuclear program. That would actually put some real substance behind her highly symbolic and historic words.

Obama's Pastor: "God Damn AmeriKKKa"
Obama says: "I don't think that my Church is particularly controversial". You make the call if you think Obama's judgement on this is correct:
Obama is going to have a hard time explaining all of this away as simply 'the crazy uncle in the basement'. This man is clearly one sick, hateful, racist #@%^! and he was Obama's spiritual leader for 20 years!..He inspired the title of Obama's book "The Audacity of Hope", he presided over Obama's marriage...Obama had his little kids sitting there listening to this kind of stuff...he had this man baptize his children...etc...good lord!
I think Obama's argument that he has the right "judgement" to be president is on its face ridicules if it was his same "judgement" that caused him to closely associate himself with such an ugly character for 20 years. This is not a minor youthful indiscretion. If the shoe was on the other foot, and it was found out that McCain had been attending a "white-centric" racist church for 20 years, it would be an automatic dis qualifier. Look at the grief that McCain got by being endorsed by the Reverend John Hagee of TX, with whom McCain has no direct affiliation, as opposed to Obama's 20 year intimate relationship with this far more radical Pastor.
You can also get a sense of where Michelle Obama got her attitude about how for the first time in her life she is "proud of her country." This is devastating stuff.

My favorite playwright in the world, David Mamet, is on the path to becoming a dreaded Neocon. Does life get any better than that?

Clinton-backer Ferraro: Obama's Where He Is Because He's Black
I just love it when Democrats reveal their true nature. The readers of this blog know that I oppose "affirmative action". Senator Obama may be many things but he is NOT the beneficiary of affirmative action in this race. Oh yeah, I'm sure that his name Barak Hussein Obama has been a big vote-getter; And the fact that he is African American is probably a wash between racists, and those voting for him simply because he is African American. In other words, he has a disadvantage on the name issue, and a wash on the race issue.
He threw his hat in the ring like all the other contenders and has been winning primaries fair and square. Instead of congratulating him, high-profile Clinton surrogate Ferraro is belittling Obama's truly remarkable electoral achievements with a sleazy little race card from the bottom of the deck.

Olmert to Israel: Get used to rocket fire
This is what passes for leadership in Israel today:
"Grad rocket attacks were not a one-time thing; this has been Israel's reality for the past 60 years, we have no way of preventing these attacks from recurring...Don't conduct yourselves as though the rocket attacks are a one-time thing"These were Olmert's words of "encouragement" during his recent visit to the rocket-pounded city of Ashkelon. Olmert stopped just short of proclaiming "let them eat cake."
Not exactly "Victory in spite of all the terror, victory no matter how long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival..." Imagine Churchill saying: "Get used to it, we have no solution."
Side-note: moments after Olmert left the city, another rocket from Gaza landed as the entire city was forced again to take cover.
Looks Like Hillary Has Found Her Running Mate
From what we know so far, Bill's behavior was worse. In any event, here is an area where Hillary really has received that 3:00 AM phone call, and really does have more experience than Obama. Give the woman credit where credit is due.
Let's go down the list shall we? Eliot payed too much (a crime in itself) for the services of a prostitute in a hotel room; while Bill got down with a barely legal intern in the White House while a foreign leader (yucky Arafat) waited for him in the next room. Whose worse? Bill or Eliot? I go with Bill on this one for soiling the peoples house during business hours.

Obama: 'If I am not ready, why is it that you think I will be such a great Vice President?'
It seems that Hillary's 'back of the Bus' argument is not playing well in Mississippi.
Devastating stuff. Anyway, Hillary's spokesman Howard Wolfson had this little jewel in response to Obama's perfectly logical question:
'Ah...ah...Obama could pass the threshold to be qualified sometime this summer...ah...yeah...yeah...that's the ticket...sometime this summer I tell ya, sometime this summer.'

Pat Condell on 'Appeasing Islam'
Once again, Patt Condell delivers our official position on radical Islam. I really don't know why I even bother dealing with Islam on this blog when all I have to do is refer you to Pat Condell, who articulates my position far better than I do. Seriously, hats off to master Pat, I surrender and humbly defer to his far superior delivery skills:
McCain to Visit Israel Next Week
It truly amazes me that any person who considers themselves even remotely pro-Israel would ever vote for Obama/Hillary. With an Obama/Hillary win, there will be dancing in the streets of Gaza, Teheran and Damascus. A real victory for every anti-Semite and Islamo-fascist, and for their unholy allies on the far left in this country.
Below is a video of Congressman Steve King (R)Iowa. King makes what I believe to be a fair point. On the one hand I have come to understand that there are those on my side of the Isle that use Obama's middle name to elicit a feeling prejudice against him that in my view is distasteful and wrong. On the other hand, it is fair to point out how Obama (with his middle name) is viewed by this country's enemies; rightly or wrongly. It would be different if Obama's stated policies were one of victory in this war. But that is not his position... Obama, with his middle name, wants to withdraw from the war on terror and "dialogue" with our enemies....giving our enemies reasons to HOPE as they have not been able to hope before, with potentially far-reaching negative consequences for an eventual Western triumph over radical Islam:

Friday Night...
This little clip reminds me of my time in Israel in the late 1970's. It really captures the atmosphere there at the time. I remember many summer nights around a campfire with friends on the beach or on the grass like this.
A good and decent people, surrounded by an ocean of primitive hatred. Yet through it all they somehow manage to maintain their humanity... and celebrate life as only a people in peril know how to do.

Iran Joins Democrats... calls on US to quit Iraq
Working off of the same policy paper, Iran's President Ahmedinejad called on the US to quit Iraq during his recent visit to Iraq. Like so many Democrats, Ahmedinejad pointed to the USA as the source of all troubles in the region but failed to notice that his visit to Iraq was only possible as a result of the US deposing Saddam Hussein to begin with...oops

Chavez Itching for War with Columbia
Hugo Chavez needs a war... Domestically things aren't going well, and generally speaking he is an international clown in charge of a country that, without oil, would be totally irrelevant to anything. So how does a man with a giant ego wrapped in an inferiority complex satisfy his desperate urge for relevance? INVADE COLUMBIA!
For decades, the 'Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia' known as FARC have been waging a lonely and largely unsuccessful communist-terrorist insurgency to overthrow the legitimately elected government of Columbia. But lately, FARC have gained a new friend in Venezuela's Hugo Chavez, a self styled "socialist" leader who has begun to champion the FARC cause which is a blatant provocation towards Columbia. Last Week, Columbia was able to eliminate FARC's second in command, Raul Reyes, in a raid on an encampment near Columbia's border with Ecuador. For that, Chavez has ordered the deployment of tanks to Venezuela's border with Columbia and has made the following rather outlandish statements:
"Columbia has invaded Ecuador and flagrantly violated Ecuador's sovereignty."
"Columbia is a terrorist state"
“Mr defence minister, move me 10 battalions to the frontier with Colombia immediately, tank battalions. The air force should mobilise.”
“I am putting Venezuela on alert and we will support Ecuador in whatever circumstances.”
“We are not going to permit the North American empire that is the master and their dog, President Uribe, and the Colombian oligarchy to come and divide and weaken us. We are not going to permit it. I am rendering tribute to the good revolutionary who was Raul Reyes, I knew him personally.”
"Don't think about doing that over here, because it would be very serious, it would be cause for war... how far is President Uribe willing to go in his warlike madness?"
"wasn't any combat. It was a cowardly murder, all of it coldly calculated."
"This is something very serious. This could be the start of a war in South America....If it occurs to you to do this in Venezuela, President Uribe, I'll send some Sukhois" -- Russian warplanes recently bought by Venezuela.
"The Colombian government has become the Israel of Latin America, we aren't going to permit Colombia to become the Israel of these lands. ... Uribe, we aren't going to permit you."
"Someday Colombia will be freed from the hand of the (U.S.) empire, we have to liberate Colombia."
Does anyone get the same feeling that I do, namely that Chavez is itching for a fight and that he is going to get what he is looking for? I also suspect that all of this will not end well for the blustering little dictator.

If the world would have listened to the Democrats
We would have run from Iraq two years ago and Al Qaeda would be in full control of Iraq and all of its oil resources at this very moment, not to mention the genocide that would have occurred. Saddam Hussein would still be in power in Iraq to this day. In fact, forget Iraq, Saddam Hussein would still be in Kuwait since Democrats also opposed the first Gulf war in 91 to oust him from that country. I mean good lord! How many times to you get to be that dead wrong and still return to the voter with a straight face?
Of course, the Soviet empire would likely still be around since most Democrats had come to oppose and even ridicule any effort to halt the spread of communism around the world. Nobody needs to remind folks (or perhpas we do) that almost all Jim Crow segregationists in the South were staunch Democrats, and the entire system of racial segregation was established and maintained by Democrats. Hell, even slavery would still be around since the Democrats supported the institution of slavery while the Republican Party was established to abolish it.
The list is almost endless and I'm not entirely sure how people feel comfortable associating themselves with such a legacy, but hey, to each his own. I would like to see the Democrat list of Republican misjudgments. I’m sure that there are many, because a political party, like any person, is deeply flawed…but seriously, there is flawed… and then there is inexcusably, repeatedly, negligently and even criminally wrong.
