Well, Well, Well...

...this is a real dose of reality for overly-excited bloggers and a few radio-talk show hosts. As I suspected, it is Romney who is taking votes from Huckabee, not the other way around. And as I suspected, McCain dominated with wins in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Illinois, California, Missouri, etc...

Holding Republican voters in contempt, as many of my fellow "conservative" pundits do, is no ticket to leadership. It is clear that Huckabee is pulling in as many, if not more votes than Romney! His supporters calling on Huckabee to withdraw is the height of Chutzpah and arrogance.

On the Democrat side, I still have no idea how any Dem can pull the lever for Hillary when a guy like Obama is clearly ten times the person she is. Obama did well, but stumbled in the big states. The hole he needs to dig out of is getting deeper. He needs to win Maryland, Virginia and DC next week just to keep his head above water.

UPDATE: Looks like I was slightly too negative on the Obama results. Politico is reporting that he picked up more delegates than Hillary. Additionally, Romney picked up a few more states in the West, making my point about Huckabee mostly applicable to the South (Which is key for any Republican, where Romney was running third).
