The Neocon is of course deeply sorry for Mr. Tom Fox and his family upon hearing the news that Mr. Fox was tortured and executed by his ruthless, barbaric captors (the ACLU failed to step in apperently). But some things should not be left unsaid. Mr. Fox was not only the direct victim of the ideology of radical Islam, he was also the indirect victim of another cult-like ideology: It's called the cult of left-wing liberalism, pacifism and moral relativism that is incapable of identifying evil or even distinguishing between right and wrong. Mr. Fox was naively compelled to go to Iraq on an Anti-American agenda disguised in the form of "human rights" and "peace" activity. Hopefully, Mr. Fox's tragic but unnecessary death will not have been in vain, and will serve as a wake-up call to those on the radical left who refuse to confront or even recognize evil when it is staring them in the face. Just because you oppose your government and even sympathize with the enemy, does not guarantee you immunity from the enemy’s wrath. You are held in contempt by the enemy, just as much as any ardent Republican Bush supporter such as this web site, and perhaps even more so.
Tom Fox, demonstrating against the Israeli anti-terror barrier. None of this of course provided him any immunity from being murdered in cold blood by the same Islamists whom surely, he naively presumed may go easy on him because of such left-wing activity.
