A Top Spokesman for the Taliban Welcomed to Yale, On US Student Visa!

John Fund delivers a remarkable article today in the Wall Street Journal. As it turns out, Sayed Rahmatullah Hashemi, former official ambassador-at-large for the Taliban, is now studying at Yale on a U.S. student visa. The Neocon couldn’t make this stuff up even if we tried. Of course we at the Neocon Express are not "sophisticated" enough to understand what might have possessed Yale to accept this man as a student, or what might have possessed the US government to issue him a Student Visa. This is the same Taliban leader that appeared in Michael Moore’s film Fahrenheit 9/11 admonishing an American woman for being too “outspoken.” Unless Mr. Sayed Rahmatullah Hashemi delivered Osama Bin Laden on a silver platter, surely he shouldn’t be in this country on a student visa, and surely he should not be welcomed with open arms by one of our finest universities. Is it just me?
