Reid: "Obama is light skinned, with no Negro dialect, unless he wants to have one." Now, if anyone other than a racist liberal would have said such a thing, they would have been run out of town faster than you can say 'Trent Lott'. But in the Democrat Party, even ex-Grand Wizards of the Klu-Klux-Clan are warmly welcomed (Robert Byrd anyone?).
Within hours, President Obama rushed to "forgive" the wayward Senate Majority Leader from his own party. Of course, back in 2002, Senator Obama was not so forgiving: "The Republican Party itself has to drive out Trent Lott. If they have to stand for something, they have to stand up and say this is not the person we want representing our party." Hmmmm.
But we are just getting warmed up. The same book that exposed the Reid quote, also has this little doozie from Bill Clinton:
Hillary bungled Caroline, Bill’s handling of Ted was even worse. The day after Iowa, he phoned Kennedy and pressed for an endorsement, making the case for his wife. But Bill then went on, belittling Obama in a manner that deeply offended Kennedy. Recounting the conversation later to a friend, Teddy fumed that Clinton had said, A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.Well, the Democrat Party was the party of Slavery and Jim Crow.
ReplyDeleteYaeh, Mr. Reid apologized for his poor words. So, From now we should try not say such words.
ReplyDeleteHe is already burned for his poor words. Lets think we all are only human.
