Palin to Peres: I'm a longtime friend of Israel

Israeli President Shimon Peres met Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin Thursday and the two exchanged some warm words. Peres was on hand to deliver a speech at an international conference organized by former United States President Bill Clinton.

Upon meeting the Israeli president Palin told him she has wanted to meet him and get to know him for years. She added that the only flag in her office, aside from the American flag, is the Israeli flag, stressing that she wants Israelis to know that she's been a longtime friend of the Jewish state, and will remain such.

  1. Joe-This makes me love Sarah Palin even more.
Libs-whose only religion is liberalism-hate committed Christians like Palin. They caricature Christians as haters and anti-semitic. In truth, hard-core Christians honor and respect Jews and Israel.
I love her comments to Peres!

No wonder libs hate her so much.
