Palin Disinvited From Anti-Ahmedinejad Rally By Jewish Group

The organizers of an anti-Iran rally Monday rescinded their invitation to Alaska Governor Sarah Palin after Democrats protested that her presence would turn the event into a political rally, McCain campaign and Jewish community sources said.

The Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations created a political tempest by inviting Palin to speak without clearing her invitation with the head of their other religion, Senator Hillary Clinton.
This is why the "organized" Jewish community is generally an embarrassment to itself. These are the same types of folks and organizations that stood silent during the Holocaust because it would have been politically incorrect and inconvenient to the Roosevelt administration. They should be ashamed of themselves. As a Jew, I would look to the likes of Palin to defend the Jewish people well before I would depend on wimpy American Jewish organizations.
