Obama: "I almost Joined the Military" and mentions "My Muslim Faith"... oops

LGF has a couple of great posts this morning. Obama makes a Freudian slip about "my Muslim faith." Fortunately for him, ABC's George Stephanopolis was there to step in and correct him:

When asked by Stephanopolis about whether he had ever considered joining the military, he replied: “You know, I actually did.” LGF points out that he had never mentioned it before, not even in his multiple autobiographies. I guess there was so much to talk about in his multiple autobiographies that there was simply no more space to mention this tiny detail. In any event, it's kind of embarrassing to compare McCain's heroic record of service in the Military to Obama's "hey, I ALMOST joint the military."
