Notice at the end of the video how Bill Clinton acknowledges his mistake, and takes personal responsibility for failing to tighten up on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac when he was warned to do so by Republicans. Wow, watching this makes my blood boil. It sure seems like any opposition to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac was not-so-subtly framed as racism and many were just too afraid to push for real reform lest they be hung out to dry by the Dems and the MSM.
ReplyDeleteThat is a good point, reviewing it again, there is a clear "not-so-subtle" framing of all efforts to regulate Fannie and Freddie as "racist".
ReplyDeleteUntil the Repubs grow a pair and hit the libs with their dishonesty the Dems will oontinue to pin the whole mess on G.W. and the Repubs.
ReplyDeleteI won't hold my breath waiting for Bush to grab the bully pulpit and explain to the American people it is overwhelmingly the Dems baby,ditto Congressional Repubs silence.
