Democrats Fight Demands for Regulations on Their Cash Cow Fannie and Freddie, Clinton Admits to Mistake

Notice at the end of the video how Bill Clinton acknowledges his mistake, and takes personal responsibility for failing to tighten up on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac when he was warned to do so by Republicans. He has just earned more credibility with me. People make mistakes, few people admit it. Watch as Democrats shamelessly oppose any restraints on their cash cow Fannie and Freddie:

    Wow, watching this makes my blood boil. It sure seems like any opposition to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac was not-so-subtly framed as racism and many were just too afraid to push for real reform lest they be hung out to dry by the Dems and the MSM.

    That is a good point, reviewing it again, there is a clear "not-so-subtle" framing of all efforts to regulate Fannie and Freddie as "racist".

    Until the Repubs grow a pair and hit the libs with their dishonesty the Dems will oontinue to pin the whole mess on G.W. and the Repubs.
    I won't hold my breath waiting for Bush to grab the bully pulpit and explain to the American people it is overwhelmingly the Dems baby,ditto Congressional Repubs silence.
