Barack Obama is Talking Down the US Economy, Hoping for a Run on the Banks

As a matter of leadership and responsibility, McCain continues to express confidence in the fundamentals of the US economy; The Obama campaign on the other hand senses political advantage in trashing and talking down the economy to the maximum extent possible, and is ridiculing responsible discussion. Apparently obama sees political hay in spreading panic and causing a run on the bank.
