A Nobel Lesson for Islam

I have my own doubts about the Nobel Prize, especially the "Peace" category which is given out based on a political judgment rather than any real achievement. I mean, Al Gore won the "Peace" prize for global warming hysteria for goodness sake. Non-the-less, the following information below is meant to make a larger point. It is certainly not meant as an insult to Islam, one of the worlds great religions, but rather as an illustration of what good things could be if mentalities were adjusted and a degree of enlightenment was achieved.

The Global Islamic population is approximately 1,200,000,000 (ONE BILLION TWO HUNDRED MILLION) or 20% of the world's population. Followers of Islam have received the following Nobel Prizes:

To Paraphrase Dr. Wafa Sultan, a Syrian-American critic of Islam:

The Jews (as imperfect as any people may be) are NOT promoting the brain washing of their children in military training camps, teaching them how to blow themselves up to become "martyrs" and to cause maximum deaths to the "infidel!"

The Jews don't hijack planes, nor kill athletes at the Olympics or blow themselves up in German restaurants. There is NOT one single Jew that has destroyed a church. The Jews don't traffic in slaves, nor have they called for Jihad and death to all the Infidels.

Perhaps the world's radical Muslims (who damage the image of all Muslims) should consider investing more on standard education and less on blaming the infidel for all their problems. Muslims must ask 'what can they do for humankind' before they demand that humankind respect them in return. Regardless of your feelings about the crisis between Israel and the Palestinians and Arab neighbors, even if you believe there is more culpability on Israel's part, the following two sentences really say it all:

'If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence.'

'If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel'
