Saudis Offer Creative Solution to Iranian Nuke Standoff

Saudi Prince Saudi said that to defuse the crisis, Saudi Arabia and a consortium of Arab Gulf states have invited Iran to produce enriched uranium jointly, where the plant could be properly monitored by international observers. “We have proposed a solution, which is to create a consortium for all users of enriched uranium to do it in a collective manner that would distribute (nuclear fuel) according to need,” he said. “We hope the Iranians will accept this proposal.” He said that the proposed plant would be built in a neutral third country, like Switzerland and will be supervised to ensure that the level of enrichment will not be bomb grade.

This offer puts Iran in a box. They claim that their uranium enrichment program is for "peaceful" purposes only. If that is the case, then this Saudi offer is a no brainer. On the other hand, rejection of this offer would be hard evidence of the Iranian intention.
