    Regarding Hillary’s performance on the weekend…
    I have to say, I’m not much of a liberal, but I felt bad for her. So far away, in the comfort of my home in Calgary, with no standing in the American electoral system; I was embarassed for her. It was a tangible empathy, like watching a 6 year old in a spelling bee misspell “cake”.

    I was painfully afraid that she was about to use the word “aksed”.

    It’s not that she doesn’t generally incite me to change the channel, but it is usually out of disgust at her rhetoric - not my own discomfort at her pitiable situation.
    Pardon me for saying - but didn’t Obama also seem a bit more “southern” that day.
