In PR move, Keith Ellison is sworn in on a Koran owned by Thomas Jefferson. Of course Jefferson owned many books and the Koran was one book he owned to learn what the enemy believes in and how the enemy thinks (read Barbary Coast pirates). I myself own a copy of Mao's little red book that I bought during a trip to China, that doesn't make me "tolerant" of murdering Communists...any more than Thomas Jefferson would be tolorant of the radical Islamists that Ellison so closely affiliates himself with (CAIR, NOI, IAP, AMA, etc..).
