ORDER #8 - EMERGENCY CALL-UP OF ISRAELI INFANTRY RESERVES ISSUED

Dispite the pronouncments of an Israeli Minister, Israel seems to be preparing for ground action with large numbers of “order #8” (call up orders) for Infantry and Combat Engineers Reserves being distributed by phone and mail. It is in addition the Reserve division already called up. This is the first real indication that Israel is considering a ground operation in the current situation.
