Canada: Belonging to Terror Group not Enough to be Deemed Air Threat



This is another one of those "we couldn't make this stuff up" moments. Canada's new no-fly policy is: "You cannot be put on the no-fly list on the sole basis that you're a member of a 'terrorist group, you have to be a demonstrable threat to aviation safety." In other words, If you've already crashed a plane into a building, you're "demonstratable" behavior will qualify you for Canada's no-fly list, otherwise... who knows.
