"In a world in which Danish cartoons insult the prophet and Disney Piglet mugs insult the prophet and Burger King chocolate ice-cream swirl designs insult the prophet, maybe it would just be easier to make a list of things that don't insult him."Mark Steyn, Chicago Sun-Times
US Editors seem completely oblivious to the damage done to their own credibility over the entire Mohammed cartoon episode. They may view themselves as the “adults” in this whole matter, where as the rest of us are irresponsible titillators (is that a word?). But in truth, they have so publicly compromised the basic principles upon which their entire profession rests; the hypocrisy has been so complete and obvious to even the most casual observer that it is hard to image how many of these folks will be taken seriously going forward. Hats off however, to the Weekly Standard for publishing the Cartoons in the appropriate news context.
