Russian President and former KGB honcho Vladimir Putin is playing with fire. He has sold Iran most of the equipment used for their threatening nuclear program. He has invited Hamas terrorist leaders to Moscow for private discussions. But the latest provocation is a big eye-opener: He has confirmed the sale of anti-aircraft defense systems to be used to defend Iran’s nuclear facilities from a possible attack by US and/or allied forces. This action should not go by without substantial notice. Putin is playing all sides, riding the back of a tiger. Just as Stalin’s pack with Hitler was an unforgivable blot on Russian history, these types of actions may prove in the future just as disturbing.
