Neocon Op-Ed Winner of the day: VDH; Appeasement 101: Dealing with bullies. Interview of the Week Goes to Newsweek

Victor Davis Hanson wins the Neocon Op-Ed of the day. With clartiy, reason and truth, VDH cuts through the bull, provides historic context and shows the way forward with confidence:

"...either the West will continue to stand up now to these reoccurring post-Sept. 11, 2001, threats, or it will see the bullies' demands only increase as its own resistance weakens. Like the appeasement of the 1930s, opting for the easier choice will only guarantee a more costly one later on."

The Inerview of the week goes to Rod Nordland of Newsweek Magazine for an interview by telephone of Mohammed al-Asaadi, a Yemini Editor jailed and threatened with execution for "insulting the prophet."
