Christopher Hitchens' Stocks on the Rise

Christopher Hitchens is a man that for many years I held in low esteem, even though I always admired his way with words. Time and again, he eloquently waved the flag of left-wing radicalism in a would that had already passed such nonsense by, rendering the “fellow-travelers” embarrassingly out of touch. But over the last few years, Hitchens has experienced a remarkable personal transformation and his stocks are gradually on the rise again. A talented intellectual, a first rate writer… and still on probation: Christopher Hitchens seems to understand the titanic struggle of civilizations that is in its early stages and seems determined to come out on the right side of history this time.
