As the world seems headed towards an inevitable titanic clash between two civilizations with monumental implications for the history of the world, our leadership and media in the West seem obsessed with relative trivial matters: Fox News can’t get enough of sex offenders, missing attractive females and any other perverted tale they can endlessly blather on about. CNN, likes to obsess about anything that may show Republicans in a bad light and chatter on about a truly trivial eavesdropping issue against terrorists who would gladly blow up New York City if they had the chance. As the world burns, there seems to be a strange disconnect between what is obsessed over and what is truly important.
