Putting aside the little historic fact that Lincoln was a Republican and the party of slavery was Jim Moran's own party, the idea that he would step before the Muslim world and accuse Americans of being "racists" after having elected an African American president only two years earlier is astounding. Of course, there was no mention by Moran of the level of freedom and tolerance in the Muslim world, where in many parts, women can't drive, homosexuals are hung in the streets, no church or synagogues are allowed, and "infidels" are sentenced to death for "blasphemy". Children can get their hand chopped off for sealing a loaf of bread, women can be killed for "dishonoring" the family because of extramarital sex...etc...etc...
