Obama "Meddles" in Honduras Internal Affairs, Sides With Chavez

The Leftist President of Honduras who was attempting to pull a 'Chavez,' was ousted from office today. the President wanted a "referendum" to bypass the country's constitution and allow him to run for "reelection," ala Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. Indeed, Manuel Zelaya is a close ally of Chavez, Castro and Ortega.

The Honduran Supreme Court ruled the constitution-circumventing referendum to be illegal and everyone from Congress, the military, and members of his own party opposed it.

Enter Barack Obama. "I am deeply concerned by Zelaya's expulsion... I call on all political and social actors in Honduras to respect democratic norms, the rule of law and the tenets of the Inter-American Democratic Charter." Hmmm. meddling in Iran or anywhere in the Muslim world is a bad thing. Meddling on behalf of Chavez, Castro and Obama's lefty pals is a good thing. Wow!

Thank You Michael Jackson - Cool Iran Video to 'Beat It'

OK, I changed the video on this post to images in Iran played to Michael Jackson's 'Beat It'. I lifted the video from Gateway Pundit who has been doing a great job on the Iran coverage. The entire Iran issue has exposed how newspapers, and the main-stream-media in general are vastly inferior to the Internet when it comes to breaking news. Especially from places like Iran where real news can be obtained almost exclusively from Internet sources while Billion-dollar big media are completely dependent on unpaid citizen journalists to get the story for them. the Michael Jackson coverage is wall to wall at the MSM. Well, at least we see that they seem to have Los Angeles covered pretty well, and there's nothing like a celebrity story for MSM to obsess over.

Elliot Abrams: Hillary Is a Liar

In 'diplomat speak,' Elliot Abrams simply says that "Hillary is wrong" when she asserts that there was no agreement between the United State and Israel on settlement expansion. Of course, in real-world speak, he is calling her a liar, and he more than anyone is in a position to know. Mr. Abrams handled all Middle East affairs at the National Security Council from 2001 to 2009.

"In recent weeks, American officials have denied that any agreement on settlements existed. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated on June 17 that "in looking at the history of the Bush administration, there were no informal or oral enforceable agreements. That has been verified by the official record of the administration and by the personnel in the positions of responsibility."

These statements are incorrect. Not only were there agreements, but the prime minister of Israel relied on them in undertaking a wrenching political reorientation -- the dissolution of his government, the removal of every single Israeli citizen, settlement and military position in Gaza, and the removal of four small settlements in the West Bank. This was the first time Israel had ever removed settlements outside the context of a peace treaty, and it was a major step.

It is true that there was no U.S.-Israel "memorandum of understanding," which is presumably what Mrs. Clinton means when she suggests that the "official record of the administration" contains none. But she would do well to consult documents like the Weissglas letter, or the notes of the Aqaba meeting, before suggesting that there was no meeting of the minds.

Mrs. Clinton also said there were no "enforceable" agreements. This is a strange phrase. How exactly would Israel enforce any agreement against an American decision to renege on it? Take it to the International Court in The Hague?

Regardless of what Mrs. Clinton has said, there was a bargained-for exchange. Mr. Sharon was determined to break the deadlock, withdraw from Gaza, remove settlements -- and confront his former allies on Israel's right by abandoning the "Greater Israel" position to endorse Palestinian statehood and limits on settlement growth. He asked for our support and got it, including the agreement that we would not demand a total settlement freeze.

For reasons that remain unclear, the Obama administration has decided to abandon the understandings about settlements reached by the previous administration with the Israeli government. We may be abandoning the deal now, but we cannot rewrite history and make believe it did not exist."
Abram's article in today's Wall Street Journal clarifies why the Obama administration is not to be trusted, and should be treated by every US ally as hostile and untrustworthy until proven otherwise. Until now, the only countries that have something to celebrate from the Obama administration are enemy states and terrorist entities (Think Chavez, Ortega, Castro, Ahamadinejad... etc...)

Foreign Policy Nightmere: Obama Upgrades US Relations With Syria, Invites Iranian Regime to 4th of July Celebrations, Reaches Out to Chavez...etc...

This is what passes as American foreign policy these days.
Continuing his march towards closer relations with terrorists, thugs and the worlds worst dictators, the Obama administration has decided to upgrade US relations with Syria, Iran's closest ally in the Middle East and still officially designated as a terrorist sponsoring nation. Meanwhile, as Iranian citizens are murdered in the streets by the regime, the Obama administration extends an invitation to representatives of the murderers to US 4th of July celebrations at US Embassies around the world. Change you can believe in. of course, the administration continues to remain "very concerned" about Jewish kindergartens in certain areas that the administration believes should be 'Judenfri,' otherwise they are "obstacles to peace." Good lord.

UPDATE: Shortly before the Iranian regime started murdering democracy demonstrators in the streets, the Obama administration sent a letter to the country's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, begging for an improvement in relations with the illegitimate, murderous regime.

UPDATE: A little slow on the uptake, the Obama administration just canceled their incredibly stupid invitations to Iranian murderers to attend official US 4th of July parties around the world. Well, I guess better late than never.

UPDATE: North Korea threatens to "wipe out the United States". Apparently Hope&Change is on hold in NK. Perhaps personal charm will do the trick.

UPDATE: Obama returns US ambassador to Venezuela where the pro-Iranian dictator Chavez is enjoying a growing relationship with the US President.

Coulter: Tiller's Killer was Simply Excercising his "Choice"

Charles Johnson over at Little Green Footballs takes Ann Coulter to task for the below interview on Bill O’Reilly's show today. Of course, I agree that the killing of an extreme abortionist cannot be condoned. But unlike Johnson, I cannot fault Coulter for her language in this interview, nor do I think it a good idea to try to silence speech by painting her obvious sarcasm as somehow beyond the pale. The "law" in America is deeply disconnected from justice or morality in many areas. A person making a mistake on an export licence form can go to jail for years, while a guy like OJ who slits the throats of two innocent people played golf (and the system) for years. Rich people can defend themselves against the system while poor people and the weak are at the mercy of our system. Unfortunately, The "law" in America is not always a reflection of what is right or what is wrong. Sometimes its just the reflection of politics. Coulter simply adopted the language of the left to make her point. The killer of Dr. George Tiller was simply exercising his "choice" and who are we to "impose our moral values" on Tiller's killer. She was clearly using sarcasm and the lefts language to make a larger point which seemed to have went right over Johnson's head. Hey, it happens to all of us.

A Tale of Two Presidents: Sarkozy Vs. Obama on Radical Islam

You make the call:

Obama:

“That is why there is a mosque in every state of our union, and over 1,200 mosques within our borders. That is why the U.S. government has gone to court to protect the right of women and girls to wear the hijab, and to punish those who would deny it. So let there be no doubt: Islam is a part of America."

Sarkozy:
“In our country, we cannot accept that women be prisoners behind a screen, cut off from all social life, deprived of all identity … The burqa is not a religious sign, it’s a sign of subservience, a sign of debasement — I want to say it solemnly, it will not be welcome on the territory of the French Republic.”
WOW! At this rate, I'm moving to France! A country with a real President.

Instead of Ahmedinejad, Obama Should be Seeking a Meeting With Mousavi.

"Change" is an empty slogan. Instead of propping up the legitimacy of crazy Ahmedinejad, Obama Should be publicly seeking a meeting with Mousavi. That would be powerful symbolism Instead of constantly talking about how he wants to reach out to Iran's illegitimate, murderous regime, perhaps Obama should be reaching out to the forces of democracy, tolerance and pluralism as represented by the demonstrators. Why does this president insist on recognizing the most extreme Islamist elements in Iran as the legitimate governing body there? By reaching out to Ahamedinejad's government he is defacto recognizing its authority over the people of Iran, seeking freedom at great risk to their own lives. And "neutrality"? Only Obama would find "neutral" ground between the arsonist and the fire department. Why don't you stand with Neda Mr. President, instead of defacto standing with her murderers? For some convoluted idea of "balance", and the "right tone".

Sarkozy: Muslim burqa is not welcome in France, calls it a sign of the "debasement" of women.

In a stunning and brave statement, Sarkozy calls for banning the garment from being worn in public. "In our country, we cannot accept that women be prisoners behind a screen, cut off from all social life, deprived of all identity," Sarkozy said to extended applause at the Chateau of Versailles, southwest of Paris. "The burqa is not a religious sign, it's a sign of subservience, a sign of debasement — I want to say it solemnly," he said. "It will not be welcome on the territory of the French Republic." FINALLY! Sombody gets it.

Netanyahu Puts Obama To Shame: Strongly Supports Iranian Students, Democracy and "Brave Iranian Women"

Smooth as silk, as diplomatic as can be, Netanyahu gently and firmly exposes the Obama administrations disastrous Middle East policies.

Richard Lugar - Useful Idiot Alert

Absolute proof that Republicans can be just as STUPID as Democrats. As free speech is crushed and people are murdered in the streets, Sen. Richard Lugar (R-IN) says that all this represents a good opportunity for the two countries to meet. He says President Barack Obama or Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton should be ready to meet with their Iranian counterparts [Ahamedinejad-Kahtemi] despite their murdering people in the streets. Lugar spoke to CNN's "State of the Union." Good lord. This old fart needs to retire.

Iran's Democracy Demonstrators not the only ones Betrayed by Obama

Just six months into this new administration, it is becoming increasingly clear that those who harbored suspicions about Obama's approach to the Middle East had good reason to be worried. A confluence of factors -- including his administration's undue pressure on Israel, a conciliatory approach to authoritarian Muslim regimes, and the baseless linkage of the failed "peace process" to the curtailment of the Iranian nuclear program -- point to what could become "the greatest disagreement between the two countries in the history of their relationship," as Middle East expert Robert Satloff recently told Newsweek. Of course, Obama's disastrous policies are slowly beginning to show up his own poll numbers. For the First times Rasmussen has him in the negative.

Good Ad By Iranian Opposition

Check out these incredible images from the Iranian counter-revolution.

Women of Iran - Seen for the frist time since 1979

I know this is kind of trivial given the circumstances, but I can't help myself. Every guy I know has mentioned how surprised they are to see how beautiful and brave Iranian women are. Since 1979 the only women you see in Iran have been covered from head to toe. Suddenly, they are filling the streets and demonstrating alongside their male counterparts, and suddenly, the world is getting a good view of Iranian women beyond the Vail. I have even seen some women in the demonstrations removing their scarves all together.... and it is hard not to notice the strength and beauty of these incredible women!

Unfortunately, some of these beautiful women have ended up like Neda:
Any regime that has the heart to shoot dead a woman like Neda (on right in happier times), who is simply expressing her support for greater freedom, is beyond all humanity. Now imagine such a regime with nuclear weapons. And as Iranian democracy protesters die in the streets, Obama expresses his "concern" yesterday while stopping for ice cream:
Ahhh, yeah, yeah, sure, I'm concerned... No, seriously, I'm concerned:

Lazy, Fatcat, Big Media Party Down with Obama as Citizen Journalists Bring Us the Real News From Iran

Yep, tonight was the Washington TV and Radio Correspondents Dinner, where lazy, big media, overpaid fatcats sit around congratulating themselves for nothing. Meanwhile, on the the other side of the world, brave, un-compensated citizen-journalists, risk everything to bring us a picture of what is happening in Iran. What a contrast. You cannot find this stuff on mainstream TV. Only the Internet and a few brave souls bring this to you. Below is an example of a brave female citizen-journalist trying to let people know what is really happening right outside her window. Think of her when you see the big-ego media types digging into their creme brulee pretending to be "journalists":

Sotomayor: Not Only Racist But Sexist Too

Everyone by now is familiar with Judge Sotomayor's statements about how "a wise Latina woman" is more likely to be a better judge than a "white male." Just exchange 'Latina woman' with 'white male' and you begin to get the picture.

But now comes news that Sotomayor is a member of an exclusive women-only club. Imagine a Supreme Court nominee who was a member of a males only club. There would be hell to pay of course.

The American Bar Association's judicial code says that a judge's extrajudicial activities "must not be conducted in connection or affiliation with an organization that practices invidious discrimination." An organization is generally said to discriminate invidiously if it "arbitrarily excludes from membership on the basis of race, sex, gender, religion, national origin, ethnicity, or sexual orientation persons who would otherwise be eligible for admission." But don't worry folks, the fix is in and the nomination will sail right through.

Most who read this blog know that I sometimes exaggerate a bit to make a larger point, which in this case is: If you are a Dem, discrimination is not only allowed but encouraged; it just depends on whether it's the "right kind" of discrimination. Or what might be described as "socially acceptable" discrimination. Unfortunately, a few readers might be a little slow on the up-take and not get the nuances.

As Blood Runs Through The Streets, Obama Administration: 'US still up for Iran talks'

Well there you have it. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's demands a halt to street protests over Iran's disputed presidential election and threatens a crackdown that could turn bloody as early as tomorrow. Already numerous democracy protesters have been beaten to death in the streets. But hey, the United States does not believe that blood in the streets will complicate efforts to reach out to Tehran over its nuclear program, the White House said on Friday. What are a few thousand dead bodies between friends? Especially when you have a misguided policy to maintain. Below is just one example out of thousands now posted all over the Internet. Some are too gruesome to show:

Only 6% of Israelis Consider Obama Pro-Israel

GOOD LORD!!!! It seems that Israelis are a little less naive than American Jews, collectively the dumbest block of voters in America. Of course, Obama can turn things around, but as it stands right now, he's right up there with Saddam Hussein and Kim Jung Ill as far as his "pro-Israel" credentials are concerned. Ok, maybe that's a slight exaggeration. In any event, expectations are about as low as they have ever gotten for an American President in Israel, with only 6% viewing him as "pro-Israel". Move over Jimmy Carter, there's a new Middle East "expert" in town. The below poster is plastered on many walls across Israel. I do not find them to be fair, although they would be perfectly fair in relation to Obama's mentor of 20 years, the Reverend Wright.Meanwhile, a new scientific survey documents that American Jews' favorite political party are twice as likely to blame "Jews" for the current economic crisis. You cannot make this stuff up. Stupid is as stupid does.

Obama Fires Inspecter General Because He's "Senile". Beck Gives Him The Test on Live TV

Barack Obama illegally fired an Inspector General who was investigating his close friend Kevin Johnson for fraud and abuse of funds. When confronted, the administration claims they fired him because he's senile. OH MY GOD!!! Anyway, Glen Beck gives the fired "senile" Inspector General, Gerald Walpin, the official government senility test on live TV. This is the funniest piece of TV I've seen in a while:

REVOLUTION in IRAN!?

Sad Update: Mossad Chief believes that Iranian protests will die out in a few days rather than escalate into a full blown revolution. Hey, one can still dream, right? Anyway, Mossad is going to look pretty stupid if he's wrong. The next few weeks will tell the story.

Let us pray for the forces of tolerance and pluralism in Iran, that they will muster the courage to overcome decades of radical-Islamic oppression and that the forces of religious and racial arrogance represented by the Mullah's and Ahamedinejad are defeated, and brought to trial on their knees for their crimes; For killing woman who are not "properly" dressed, for hanging homosexuals in the streets; for threatening to destroy another country; for financing and arming violent terrorists and seeking nuclear weapons to terrorize the world....

There are those who point out that this is a struggle between two factions of the same regime, and in fact that is how this ball got rolling. Yet by now it is clear that the "reformist" camp is seeking to throw off the Mullah regime all together, and that needs to be supported. Let us pray that the weak Obama administration will find the strength to speak out loudly and forcefully in favor of those fighting for real change, instead of hiding in confusion and monitoring which way the wind is blowing like the immoral cowards that they are.

Cowardly Obama and Hillary Refuse to Stand up for Iran Democracy Demonstrators

What started as an election between the bad guy and the worse guy, could turn out to be an opportunity to overthrow the Iranian Mullah regime. But Obama and Hillary refuse to take a clear stand in support of those seeking to shed themselves of the oppressive regime. Shame.

UPDATE: Obama finally breaks his silence on the biggest news story in the world. Says he is "troubled" by the violence. Golly gosh gee.

MSNBC Confirms my Post From a Year Ago on Growing Glacier

The day that the Perito Moreno glacier stops growing, and stops naturally damming Lago Argentino, is the day that I will start becoming concerned about "global warming." Perito Moreno glacier is a far greater barometer than a few politically motivated activists. It is one gigantic indicator because its natural cycle is predictable and visually evident to everyone. It's like one giant climate-meter which will reflect changes if such changes occur.

Scientist are baffled. They claim that man-made "global warming" is shrinking glaciers, but as I reported over a year and a half ago, they simply cannot explain why the Perito Moreno glacier in Argentina is growing like gangbusters! Al Gore shamelessly used footage of naturally cleaving ice from Perito Moreno as evidence of "global warming" in his film 'An Inconvenient Truth'. Well, the inconvenient truth is that Perito Moreno is putting "global warming" cultist to shame. Finally, lefty media types like MSNBC are taking note. Below is my report from Perito Moreno a year and a half ago:

Malcolm Hoenlein: Jews ‘Very Concerned’ About Obama

I am floored by this interview by Ronald Kessler over at NewsMax. Malcolm Hoenlein is the executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, the umbrella group for all Jewish organization in America, and has been since the 80's. Given his position, he expresses his views cautiously. It is highly unusual for the Conference of Presidents to express "concern" about any US President and they usually go far out of their way to avoid any appearance of confrontation with the US President. Therefore you can imagine my amazement when I read the below article.

President Obama’s strongest supporters among Jewish leaders are deeply troubled by his recent Middle East initiatives, and some are questioning what he really believes, Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, tells Newsmax in an exclusive interview.

Though Hoenlein says he is only offering his personal views, the conference he represents is a political powerhouse that includes 50 major Jewish groups. Among them are the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), B’nai B’rith International, the American Jewish Congress, the American Jewish Committee, the Zionist Organization of America, Hadassah, and the Anti-Defamation League. Hoenlein has been the professional head of the conference since 1986, overseeing its day-to-day activities as the coordinating body for American Jews on issues of concern in the U.S. and globally.

Jewish leaders “are expressing concern about what was said [in Obama’s Cairo speech],” Hoenlein says. “I’ve heard it from some of his strongest supporters. It’s expected from his detractors. Even people close to him have said to us that there were parts of the speech that bothered them.”

Obama’s speech to a Muslim audience in Cairo in early June was his second effort early in his administration to re-define America’s posture toward the Arab world. In April, Obama traveled to Ankara, Turkey, to offer a similar outreach to the Muslim world.

But many in the Jewish community, including some of Obama’s most ardent supporters, are troubled by his comments in the Middle East, especially his remarks to his Cairo audience. Others are concerned that, facing a multitude of problems on the domestic front, Obama has traveled twice to the Middle East without visiting Israel, America’s stalwart ally in the region for more than a half-century.

“There’s a lot of questioning going on about what he really believes and what does he really stand for,” Hoenlein says of Obama’s outreach.

Reaction to Obama’s speech has drawn a range of reaction from many Jewish leaders. On the right, some have condemned it as a revision of the long and close relationship between the U.S. and Israel. But many on the left who backed Obama were also surprised and dismayed over Obama’s speech. Such reactions from major Jewish leaders have largely remained beneath the surface, exchanged privately among them.

Hoenlein’s comments to Newsmax are his first detailed appraisal of Obama’s speech and represent the first time a major Jewish leader has spoken openly about the erosion of Jewish support for Obama.

According to the exit poll conducted by major press organizations during the 2008 election, Obama captured overwhelming support from American Jews, winning 78 percent of their vote. Despite the fact that Republicans are stronger on national security and the war on terror, Obama also won support from Jewish leaders who have been champions of Israel’s security, such as the former Democratic mayor of New York, Edward I. Koch. Koch crossed party lines in 2004 to back George W. Bush.

Reacting to Obama’s Cairo speech, Hoenlein tells Newsmax, “I have no problem with addressing the Muslim world. I’m in fact in favor of outreach, and we here at the conference have done it for about 12 or 15 years, visiting Muslim countries in Central Asia and the Middle East. But the question is, what is the message they get? It’s not so much what he says, but how do they perceive what he says?”

On the one hand, Hoenlein says, “His reference to Israel and the special relationship being unbreakable is important, and references to persecution and Holocaust denial were important, and some of his references to some human rights issues also were important.”

But Hoenlein notes the speech included a number of troubling references and comparisons. He cites the fact that Obama claimed America has seven million Muslims. That is a figure “Arab propagandists have put out,” he says. “In fact, they say only six million, when in fact there’s no study that shows even half of that.”

In 2007, the Pew Research Center estimated the Muslim American population at 2.35 million.

Hoenlein is disturbed that Obama did not mention the Jewish people’s ancient connection with the land of Israel.

“There was no reference to the 3,000 years of Jewish connection to this land,” Hoenlein says. “And that is again one of the propaganda lines that the Arabs have used: that the Jews are interlopers, that the two temples never existed, that there was never any Jewish history in the land of Israel. Even Yasser Arafat and others have used that argument because they’re trying to deny the legitimacy of the Jewish state. I don’t believe that was the president’s intent, but not making those references I think is troubling.”

Jews have claimed a connection to the land of their forefathers since 1400 B.C. Even after the Roman destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D. and the dispersal of many Jews throughout the Roman Empire, many Jews continued to reside in Jerusalem through the centuries, surviving various invasions. An Ottoman census of Jersualem conducted in 1845 showed Jews outnumbered Muslim Arabs by almost to 2 to 1 and were the dominant ethnic group in the region.

Hoenlein believes that the most troubling aspect of Obama’s comments in his Cairo speech was his effort to equate the Nazi killing of more than six million Jews during the Holocaust with Israel’s struggle with the Palestinians over six decades and the suffering caused by the displacement of the Palestinians.

“There’s no comparison between the Holocaust, even if it was an indirect one, and what happened to Palestinians,” Hoenlein declares.

In his speech, President Obama addressed the issue of the Holocaust head-on, saying “Six million Jews were killed — more than the entire Jewish population of Israel today.”

But he quickly changed the subject, comparing Hitler’s genocide of the Jews to the Palestinian struggle.

“On the other hand,” Obama said, as he transitioned from the Holocaust to the modern Middle East, “it is also undeniable that the Palestinian people — Muslims and Christians — have suffered in pursuit of a homeland.”

Hoenlein doesn’t buy Obama’s line of reasoning.

“The Palestinian refugee problem, or dislocation as he said, didn’t come about because of the creation of the Jewish state,” Hoenlein says. “It came about because the Arab states declared war on Israel and warned the Arabs that they would suffer the same fate as the Jews if they didn’t get out. And then they kept them as political pawns.”

Obama made no reference to the fact that “the reason the Palestinians don’t have a state is because their leaders rejected every offer for peace,” Hoenlein says. “Whether it was in 1937 or 1947 or 1967, or later on, up until Ehud Olmert’s offer and Ehud Barak’s offer, they rejected everything, even when they were getting virtually everything they had asked for.”

That is because, “The problem really is not what Israel does, it’s that Israel is,” Hoenlein says. “And they’re not ready to accept the existence of the Jewish state.”

In discussing the Palestinian refugee problem, Obama failed to mention the other refugee problem involving nearly a million Jews, Hoenlein says. At the time of the creation of the modern state of Israel in 1948, Jews populated all of the major Arab cities from Baghdad in the East to Casablanca in the West.

Hoenlein notes that after modern Israel saw its rebirth, Jews “were driven out of Arab countries penniless, and some of their families had lived there for a thousand years, and yet there was no reference to them.” He adds, “This is not a question of tit for tat. It’s a question of the realities that are communicated to a vast audience in the Arab Muslim world.”

As troubling as Obama’s references to Israel and the Palestinians were, Hoenlein found the president’s failure to mention the radical regime now running Tehran equally disturbing.

”What concerned us, concerned many people, was the message to Iran that we didn’t hear,” Hoenlein says.

Iran, controlled by powerful Shia Mullahs, is set to acquire a nuclear device. Many Sunni Muslim states, including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and Morocco, are concerned about this prospect.

Hoenlein says these Arab states also wanted to hear “an absolute assurance about the U.S. commitment not to allow Iran to be nuclear, not to allow it to continue to support terrorism, not to allow it to continue being the major state sponsor of terror around the world.”

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who declared himself the winner in the election in Iran this past weekend, has repeatedly called for Israel’s destruction. In 2005, he declared that he is a devout follower of Iran’s late ruler Ayatollah Khomeini. He has vowed to fulfill the Ayatollah’s dream that the “occupying regime [Israel] must be wiped off the map.”

Asked if he sees Obama’s perceived tilt toward the Palestinians as reflecting some of the views of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jr., Obama’s former pastor who accused Israel of “ethnic cleansing” and “terrorism,” Hoenlein says American Jews are concerned about Obama’s policies today.

“That issue has been discussed and debated, and I don’t know that it’s a relevant concern for right now,” he says. “I do feel strongly about what the [current] policy will be.”

Hoenlein says flatly, “People [Jews] are genuinely very concerned...about President Obama.”

Will Sombody Please Give These People Guns!

This is why the founders wrote the first and the second amendments. So that people can express themselves freely and can defend themselves against a tyrannical regime trying to suppress freedom. If these people had guns, they would not be helpless sheep against the evil Mullah's of Iran. notice how people are beaten to death, the raw footage is incredible. Somebody please give these people guns.

Where is the CIA?

Below is raw footage of Iranian's taking to the streets today to demonstrate against the Ahamedinejad regime. They need to be supported right now. Now is the time for action... They need money, they need arms and organization to overthrow the Mullah's which they would gladly do if they had the resources, the leadership and the organizational abilities. They know what they want to do but have no idea how to go about achieving it. Where is Obama's CIA? Let's hope they are doing everything in their power to spark the counter-revolution. Let's hope they march on every government building, armed to the teeth and seize control by force from the oppressive Mullahs, arrest Ahmedinajad and the entire criminal gang holding Iran hostage since 1979. One can only dream.

Holocaust Denier who Openly Calls for the Destruction of Israel and is Seeking Nuclear Weapons to do so, wins Iran's Presidential Election

Hmmm, it seems the Iranian people haven't gotten the memo about 'hope and change'. It appears to be a landslide, probably fraudulent. Maybe one more Obama Islam-apology speech and tad more touchy-feely negotiations will do the trick?

UPDATE: Obama says he is excited about Iran's "robust election" debate. Good lord.

UPDATE: Riots break out across Tehran.

UPDATE: Opposition leader Mousavi arrested in Iran.

UPDATE: U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, meanwhile, said Saturday the U.S. hopes the outcome of the election reflects the genuine will and desire of the Iranian people. "We are monitoring the situation as it unfolds in Iran, but we, like the rest of the world, are waiting and watching to see what the Iranian people decide." Is it possible to issues a weaker statement?

Meanwhile, standing right next to Hillary at a new conference, Canadian Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon said his country was deeply concerned by reports of irregularities in the election. "We're troubled by reports of intimidation of opposition candidates' offices by security forces," Cannon said. Canada is calling on Iranian authorities to conduct fair and transparent counting of all ballots.

At least we can depend on Canada to issue a firm statement, while the US President and the US Secretary of State come across as the leaders of Greenland or something, certainly not as leaders of the free world.

Obama's Spiritual Mentor: "Them Jews Aren't Going to Let Him Talk to Me"

UPDATE: Obama's spiritual mentor apologizes, meant to say "them Zionists", not "them Jews". Yeah, uh huh.

Obama's spiritual mentor, The Reverend Wright said: "Them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office. ...

"They will not let him to talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is. ... I said from the beginning: He's a politician; I'm a pastor. He's got to do what politicians do."

Wright also said Obama should have sent a U.S. delegation to the World Conference on Racism held recently in Geneva, Switzerland, but that the president did not do so for fear of offending Jews and Israel.

"Ethic cleansing is going on in Gaza. Ethnic cleansing of the Zionist is a sin and a crime against humanity, and they don't want Barack talking like that because that's anti-Israel," Wright said.

URGENT: Disgusting right-wing, white supremacist, Holocaust denying Neo-Nazi, 9/11 "Truther", Jew-hating racists idiot, shoots a security guard at the US Holocaust Museum. UPDATE: Hero security guard at Holocaust Museum dies of his wounds. UPDATE: Some guy who attended a vicious anti-Semitic "Church" for twenty years says that we need to be vigilant about anti-Semitism.

"Mr. Cool" Takes a Rest in Paris on the Public Steps

Supporters will call it "refreshing", critics will call it "undignified" for a President. I'm not sure what to think, although I have never seen a picture of a US President quite like this. Then we have the President giving us the soles of his shoes while conversing with international leaders. He is putting his shoes on the Resolute Desk, a truly historic piece of furniture that would be sitting at the Smithsonian if it was not in the Oval office underneath Obama's shoes.
Anyway, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is convinced that the Obama administration is seeking a public confrontation with Israel to gain street-cred in the Arab world. This, as Israel's Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya'alon belittles Obama's Iran policy. Amazingly, Obama opposes nuclear power in the United States, but supports Iran's "right" to nuclear power. WOW!

Obama: We Can't Ask Iran or North Korea to Disarm Without Taking Steps to Disarm Ourselves

The things that come out of this mans mouth continue to astonish me. it is simply amazing to me how blind people are to stupidity and are such slaves to style over substance. Sarkozy is clearly thinking to himself, what an empty suit; I guess I'll have to play along:

Conservatives Sweep Election Results in Europe. Lebanon Clings to Hope after Hezbollah Defeat

Reading the press you would think that everybody in Europe is enthralled with Obama. The truth is of course that there is no Obama-mania in Europe and there never was. There are a bunch of leftist over there who love him as they love Che Guevara, nothing more. Evidence? Conservatives swept the EU Parliament elections today, and maintain control of all major EU states such as Italy, Germany and France. Gordon Brown in the UK would be ousted by conservatives in a heartbeat if only an election were allowed to be scheduled. in Holland, Greet Wilders' Freedom Party came very close to becoming the largest party in Holland only three years after its establishment, as socialists lost half their seats.

In Lebanon, Obama's negotiating partners in Iran were disappointed to see that their proxies in Lebanon, Hezbollah, were defeated. Moderate, pro-Western forces retain power, but Hezbollah will remain a fully armed, separate terrorist militia in that country.

Hillary to Iran: Don't Nuke Israel or Something May Happen

This should make Israel feel much safer now that Hillary has taken a firm verbal position against nuking Israel. The Obama administration is not so much against Iran having nukes as it is with the idea that Iran may consider nuking Tel Aviv, which apparently is the Obama administrations red line. Yeah, I'm sure this is a real confidence builder for Israel. Good lord.

Pathological Insanity. Even Stalin and Hitler Would be Blushing:

This is what is happening on American TV news these days. Literally, pathological insanity of the kind that would make even Stalin blush. Please watch this little segment from MSNBC and ask yourself if this seems normal?

And notice Chris Matthew saying "yeah" in the background.

D-Day 65 Years Ago Today

On this day 65 years ago today, President Roosevelt delivered this speech broadcast on every radio station across America:

Mulsim Fanatic Crashes Memorial for Slain US Soldier in Little Rock

The brazenness is hard to fathom. A radical Muslim ambushes US troops in the heart of the Untied States, and when a memorial is conducted for the dead US soldier, another radical Muslim, in the heart of the United States feels comfortable enough to crash the memorial. WOW! This might be a case of taking tolerance to an extreme. Tolerance of intolerance is no virtue.

Hillary Clinton: Israel Is Lying

Hillary says the Bush administration never agreed to Israel expanding West Bank communities; insists there is no record of 'any informal or oral agreement' to that effect. The Israelis say the US position was laid out in a 2004 letter from Bush to then Israeli premier Ariel Sharon. Clinton rejected that claim, saying any such US stance was informal and "did not become part of the official position of the United States government." OK now we are back to Clinton word-parsing time.

Informal? Really? Usually "informal" agreements by the President of the United States are not put down in writing in a letter and sent to a foreign leader. Does it say "informal" on the letter?

I say that Israel should produce the letter, splash it all over the Internet, and let people make their own judgments about who is lying. For a person with the last name of 'Clinton', it may not be a good idea to be accusing others of lying.

So the US wants Israel to "abide by agreements" while Hillary is trying to parse her way out of a US agreement when it suits her ideologically.

Hmmmm

The walking contradiction

One day he is sucking up to those who would destroy Israel in a heartbeat, the next day he his playing to the civilized world (as in the video below). That is what happens when a politician has no core values and tries to be all thing to all people. Here is the good Obama on display in Germany after we saw the bad Obama yesterday:

A usual, Ramirez nails it:

The only silver lining for Israelis from the president’s speech in Cairo and his general positions on the Middle East is that Obama has overplayed his hand. Far from bending to his will, a large majority of Israelis perceives Obama as a hostile force and has rallied in support of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu against the administration. This public support gives Netanyahu the maneuver room he needs to take the actions that Israel needs to take to defend against the prospect of a nuclear armed Iran and to assert its national rights and to defend itself against Palestinian terrorists and other Arab and non-Arab anti-Semites who wish it ill.

Senator Jim Inhofe: "I'm Not Sure Who's Side He's [Obama] is on"

Sen. Jim Inhofe said today that President Barack Obama's speech in Cairo was "un-American" because he referred to the war in Iraq as "a war of choice" and didn't criticize Iran for developing a nuclear program.

Inhofe, R-Tulsa, also criticized the president for suggesting that torture was conducted at the military prison in Guantanamo, saying, "There has never been a documented case of torture at Guantanamo."

"I just don't know whose side he's on," Inhofe said of the president.

Obama's Islam Speech: Bad, But It Could Have Been Worse

Hey, he only compared Israel to South African apartheid and American slavery, the word "terrorism" or "Hezbollah", or "Hamas" were not mentioned even once, he fully supported Iran's "peaceful" nuclear program, but it could have been worse.

As the endless Obama-Islam suck-up tour continues, let us not dwell on the negative too much. There is so much of it when it comes to Obama's approach to the Middle East, his understating (or lack of understanding), and his complete ignorance of human history is stunning. Schlussel point that out accurately in her criticism. I prefer to dwell on the positive in this case since my original expectations were so low. So here are the few quotes from his speech that deserve praise:

Finally, the Arab States must recognize that the Arab Peace Initiative was an important beginning, but not the end of their responsibilities. The Arab-Israeli conflict should no longer be used to distract the people of Arab nations from other problems. Instead, it must be a cause for action to help the Palestinian people develop the institutions that will sustain their state; to recognize Israel’s legitimacy; and to choose progress over a self-defeating focus on the past.
America’s strong bonds with Israel are well known. This bond is unbreakable. It is based upon cultural and historical ties, and the recognition that the aspiration for a Jewish homeland is rooted in a tragic history that cannot be denied.
Around the world, the Jewish people were persecuted for centuries, and anti-Semitism, in Europe culminated in an unprecedented Holocaust. Tomorrow, I will visit Buchenwald, which was part of a network of camps where Jews were enslaved, tortured, shot and gassed to death by the Third Reich. Six million Jews were killed – more than the entire Jewish population of Israel today. Denying that fact is baseless, ignorant, and hateful. Threatening Israel with destruction – or repeating vile stereotypes about Jews – is deeply wrong, and only serves to evoke in the minds of Israelis this most painful of memories while preventing the peace that the people of this region deserve.
That's about it. This is what I hang my hat on while looking for a positive in a 6,000 word ocean of nonsense and misrepresentations. But hey, I'll take what I can get.

Strange: Israel is Rated 4th "Least Peaceful" Place on Earth, But Has a Higher Life Expectancy Then the "Most Peaceful" Place on Earth

You know something is screwy when a "peace" group rates the most "peaceful" places on earth as having a lower life expectancy rate than the so called fourth least peaceful place on earth.

New Zealand was rated the most peaceful place on earth, but according to the United Nations, people on average in New Zealand live a half a year less than people in Israel. In fact, Israel beats out the United States, Norway, Canada, the UK, Germany, Finland and most other Western countries when it comes to life expectancy according to the UN. The peace group that came up with this "study" sandwiched Israel between Sudan (Life expectancy of 58.6) and Somalia (Life expectancy of 48.2 years). For the record, Israel's life expectancy is 80.7, the eighth highest on earth! What would you choose, "peace" or life? And oh, by the way, New Zealand also has a much higher Suicide rate than Israel. More than twice as high in fact! All that "peace" over there is causing people to kill themselves. No kidding. It's death by boredom. Perhaps living in a distant, irrelevant corner of the globe in "peace" is not a healthy thing?

It's Springtime For Obama in the Muslim World

Obama: The United States is One of The Largest Muslim Countries in the World

In the interview, the President says that as Americans "we need to educate ourselves about Islam" and that the United States, with all its Muslims is actually "one of the largest Muslim countries in the world." It seems that it is the President who needs to educate himself.

Islamist Radical Thug Odinga, Who Is Also Obama's Cousin, Embraces Ahamedinejad

Is there a single person out there who believes that Kenyan Prime Minister Odinga went to Iran without the blessing of his cousin Obama? Above is the famous image of Obama campaigning for his cousin Odinga in Kenya.
On May 30th, Odinga traveled to Iran to establish a stronger alliance with that radical country. Coincidence? It's truly amazing how the MSM miss these stories time and again. But they did get the Obama date story down, so that's a plus.
